The quote at the beginning of the movie, "Now I am become death, the destoyer of worlds", is the voice of Dr. Robert Oppenheimer quoting the Hindu Bagavad Gita. He recited this in an interview when asked what he thought of when the first atomic bomb was detonated.

Goofs
After Gina comes up with a plan, she runs down the beach wearing shorts. At the marina, she's just in her bikini. On the boat, she has on shorts again and then just her bikini.

A Performance of a Lifetime by Rachele Brooke Smith

Scott Foy, Jack Snyder, and Griff Furst's Atomic Shark script is first rate and under the gifted direction of A.B. Foy, this is an exceptional thriller. It is, however, the standout work of Rachele Brooke Smith that distinguishes this and leaves an unforgettable impression. She give nothing less than the performance of a lifetime and her characterization shows fantastic emotion and depth. Overall, a fine film but made something very special by Ms. Smith's tremendous work.
