Possessed

The typically misleading IMDb mini-bio for Ms. St. Claire claims she dethroned Jenna Jameson as the best-selling Porn actress a couple of decades ago, but leaving aside the questionable veracity of that claim, this typical John T. Bone vehicle displays a mediocre performer. I managed to ignore the Jasmin craze and didn't miss much.

Reissued on a 3-fer DVD by Metro, "Possessed" is a lame psychological thriller resembling a dozen other assembly-line Bone specials from the mid-'90s. Most feature Annabel Chong as does this one, casting her as a head nurse (pun intended I'm sure) spitting out dialog poorly.

The buxom Jasmin plays Maria, incarcerated and being experimented on by some seedy porn stars including Dave Hardman and Steve Masters. It's all an excuse for incoherent gonzo sex action, the lowlight (or highlight for pervs) being a threesome rolling around on the floor humping in excrement, or perhaps some melted chocolate like Pasolini used in his classic "Salo".

There's the requisite anal sex, d.p.'s and gang bang which pornographers consider red meat to their audience. BDSM and fetish-gear are minor elements and fantasy moments fall flat.

It all adds up to a lousy feature which had me putting the "trilogy" back on my shelf, awaiting a very dreary, rainy day to catch up with the other two Jasmin titles contained therein.
