The Bryan Danielson-Samoa Joe match was a 60-minute draw. Dave Meltzer's "The Wrestling Observer Newsletter" awarded it 4 1/4 stars out of a maximum possible five.
The Austin Aries/Roderick Strong-The Briscoes (Mark and Jay)-The Irish Airborne (Dave and Jake Crist)-Matt Sydal/Jack Evans match was made up of three parts. The first part was a scramble with all four teams in at once. The second part required making a member of the opposing team tap out. The third part was a regular tag team match. The Irish Airborne eliminated the Briscoes in the first part. Roderick Strong forced Dave Crist to tap out to the Stronghold (vertical Boston Crab) to win the second part. Aries pinned Sydal with a 450 Splash to win the third part and the match overall.
Alison Danger was in Christopher Daniels' corner for his match with Nigel McGuinness, Claudio Castagnoli and Jay Lethal. Claudio brought a briefcase with him that never came into play.
The Briscoes interfered in the Homicide/BJ Whitmer-Steve Corino/Adam Pearce match, giving the Homicide/Whitmer team the win by disqualification.
After the Danielson-Joe match, KENTA stood on the ring apron until the Briscoes attacked him. Homicide made the save until the Briscoes started beating him up until Joe made the save, with Joe offering to team with Homicide against the Briscoes.
