Michael Weatherly Loses 35 Pounds For NCIS Return

When you have a successful series that’s lasted as long as NCIS, you naturally have cast turnovers for different reasons. Often, the actors leave to pursue other roles.
But while they may move on with their lives, dedicated fans cling to the memory of their characters and celebrate when we get a reunion.

Bull Durham is arguably one of the best sports movies of all time, albeit with a strong romantic angle. In the film, Kevin Costner stars as Lawrence “Crash” Davis, a veteran minor-league baseball player recruited by the Durham Bulls. Susan Sarandon stars opposite Costner as Annie Savoy, who develops feelings for Crash.

One of the most memorable scenes from the film is the kitchen counter love scene, which showcases the passion and chemistry between the lead pair. While the scene existed in the script, it was nowhere near as impactful as one suggestion from Costner ended up making it. Here is what Costner changed for the scene and how it made all the difference in the world.

Thanks to his acting skills and collaborations with director Martin Scorsese, he has an extremely well-decorated filmography. As expected, newcomer Sawandi Wilson (“Star Trek: Discovery”) has joined the cast of “General Hospital” as a contract player. He first appeared on the Monday, August 26 episode of the ABC drama series.
According to the end credits shown on Friday, September 6, Wilson’s character’s full name is Dr. Isaiah Gannon, a last name familiar to fans of the defunct “One Life to Live,” leaving many questioning if the character has ties to Llanview.
Thus far, the character had been imprisoned at the same refugee camp as Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), but later escaped and made his way to Port Charles.
Shortly after leaving the airport, Isaiah found himself hit by a car during a struggle between Linda Boyle (Amor Owens) and Ava Jerome (Maura West). He was later transported to General Hospital thanks to Jason (Steve Burton) calling for emergency services.

After 30 years, Oliver Stone knows when to admit he was wrong.
The Academy Award-winning writer and director recently reminisced about working with a 27-year-old Robert Downey Jr., who was admittedly under the influence during the majority of filming, on the 1994 crime romance Natural Born Killers.
Stone recalled directing the actor in the final scene for a recent oral history by Esquire, revealing it was Downey’s idea to dip the front tails of his white shirt in fake blood and pull it through his pants zipper. “Oh come on—that’s too much! You’re going too far, Robert,” he told Downey of the bloody innuendo.
“You’re ruining my movie! Forget the dumb dick idea. This isn’t… This isn’t some slapstick bull—,” added Stone.
Downey, who happened to be sober on this day of filming, relented and pulled his shirt back through the zipper. “Wait, wait—wait a second.

Suits is one of the best and most popular legal dramas that managed to make the profession of lawyer cool again. Created by Aaron Korsh, the USA Network series follows Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who has a photographic memory and joins Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) at a prestigious law firm. The only problem with that is Mike didn’t actually go to law school and he doesn’t have a degree about which he has to lie to everyone. Suits ran for 9 brilliant seasons and ended its run in 2019. So, if you loved the witty banter, high stakes, and compelling characters in Suits here are some similar brilliant shows you should check out next.

The return of General Hospital‘s Jonathan Jackson includes the introduction of a brand new character, a mysterious doctor named Isaiah. Lucky and Isaiah are currently in a sticky situation involving a crime lord. Their main goal right now is to make their escape. That’s actor Sawandi Wilson, who plays the medicine man.
The Doctor is In
Deadline broke the news of this key casting. Since Isaiah’s first appearance earlier this week, he’s patched Lucky up and punched him. Of course, that was after the wayward Spencer played Russian Roulette with his life. There’s no word on how long Wilson will be around. But the hospital certainly needs fresh new blood with Michael Easton’s departure from the show.
So, hopefully, Dr. Isaiah will head back to Port Charles with Lucky when it is time for the big brother to save his comatose little sister, Lulu.

Like their titular characters, Angel was Buffy’s older counterpart. The spin-off, which turns 25 this year, took its parent show’s supernatural lore out of a school setting and into the big, bad city. While bright, cheery Sunnydale provided an ironic contrast to the demonic action in its shadows, Los Angeles was its shadows. As Angel’s running joke goes, the city was a sordid hotbed of evil and monstrous behaviour even before the Satanic cults and vampires got a look-in.
There is, however, a line, and in its second ever episode, Angel crossed it.
After the pilot introduced the vision-afflicted Doyle, re-introduced Buffy character Cordelia, and set up Angel Investigations’ “We Help the Helpless” premise, it was time to set the show’s adult tone and shake off Buffy’s residual cheerleader vibes. How better to do that than with an episode about crack addiction and sex work?

Chicago – The power of performance is on unique display in “Sing Sing,” expanding in theaters this August. It’s directed/co-adapted by Greg Kwedar and features the consummate Colman Domingo. The film is set in the infamous prison, as the incarcerated become a troupe of actors, and how it changes their lives.
Divine G (Colman Domingo) is imprisoned in New York State’s Sing Sing, and finds purpose by acting in a theatre group alongside other men who are also incarcerated. Their acting coach/play director (Paul Raci) is a patient mentor, but some troupe members – like “Divine Eye” (Clarence Maclin) – are going to have a rockier path towards interpreting this variation of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.”

France’s Deauville American Film Festival has announced a retrospective gathering 50 U.S. features that have challenged perceptions of the world to mark its 50th anniversary.

“Cinema has always made us dream, travel, desire, fantasize, laugh, cry. But how many films have been able to shake up our certainties, question our beliefs, question our prejudices and put our own views into perspective?,” said the festival.

NCIS stars Michael Weatherly and Mark Harmon had a relationship not too unlike their characters Tony Dinozzo and Leroy Gibbs. Weatherly felt Harmon especially shared this common trait with his NCIS counterpart.

Weatherly and Harmon had different but complementary personalities. Weatherly typically had a more outgoing presence both on NCIS and behind-the-scenes. Harmon, however, was more reserved and professional. But Harmon’s characteristics served Gibbs well, who was written to have a very quiet strength. So much so that the writers felt like Gibbs was one of the hardest NCIS characters to write for.

Tony Dinozzo, played by Michael Weatherly, became a fan favorite during his years on NCIS. Now, almost a decade after his departure from the original show, a spin-off, NCIS: Tony & Ziva, is coming to Paramount+.
The new project does not yet have a release date, but it is known that it will be released in the second half of 2024.
Here are nine projects starring Michael Weatherly to help you pass the time.
1. Bull, 2016-2022
Dr. Jason Bull is the charming founder of a successful trial consulting firm. He and his team use science and intuition to understand attorneys, witnesses, and defendants and create trial scenarios that help their clients win.
Michael Weatherly's Dr. Bull falls somewhere between Lie to Me's Dr. Lightman and The Mentalist's Patrick Jane. From the former, he takes an (almost) scientific approach to "reading" people — whether they are lying or telling the truth.

Hidetaka Miyazaki’s games are all set in vastly different universes, but they will all feature some references to each other. One of the most enduring of these references is the Moonlight Greatsword, which has appeared in almost every FromSoftware game.
Elden Ring featured this weapon as well, which could be obtained by completing Ranni’s quest line. Shadow of the Erdtree will bring more references to the table, and a recent showcase has revealed one that is a very obvious throwback to one of the studio’s most challenging titles.

NCIS is coming back to the screens later this year with its season 22, and there might be more surprises than everyone is expecting right now. The last season’s finale left two major cliffhangers for the next installment, and fans are probably counting days until they finally get to see what happens to Jessica Knight after she accepts that big offer and whether Alden Parker’s vision will force the show to dive deeper into the character’s backstory.
However, NCIS’ next season might also highlight the return of an original character that was gone too soon by season 3, yet there are still some ways for them to make their way back to the show.
Started in 2003, NCIS featured Sasha Alexander’s Caitlin ‘Kate’ Todd as one of the Special Agents right until the season 2 finale, where she was shot dead by sniper and Mossad double-agent Ari Haswari, with Ziva...

With so many very popular procedural TV shows, it seems like a very easy genre to tap into and achieve instant success. Especially if the main character is already known and loved by the audience. Especially if the show airs in prime time on a popular network. And yet, it may not be enough.
There are too many factors that go into making the show successful, and if it's not, it's usually scrapped. The case of CBS' Bull shows just how far a procedural can go by relying on just one actor.
Is Bull Worth Watching?

NCIS shocked many when Cote de Pablo initially left the series after 11 seasons. But she made her return to the franchise not too long ago, which she would’ve only done for a good reason.
How Cote De Pablo was convinced to return to ‘NCIS’ Cote de Pablo | Slaven Vlasic/Getty Images
De Pablo initially left NCIS under peculiar circumstances, the details of which are still under wraps. She lamented over having to leave her NCIS fans the way she did. Martin Scorsese is widely regarded as the greatest living filmmaker of modern cinema. But like a modest director, Scorsese has long credited his success to his collaborative partnership with Thelma Schoonmaker, whom he considers the greatest living film editor. For over five decades, Schoonmaker has been the mastermind behind the editing room, shaping Scorsese’s vision into cinematic masterpieces.

Netflix keeps sticking to its eye-opening mission to give the viewers a fresh look at unfairly forgotten old flicks, and another one has just been rediscovered by the platform’s subscribers.
Initially released back in 2021, Paul Andrew Williams’ epic crime thriller Bull is currently blowing everyone away making it clear that the impressive score on Rotten Tomatoes is quite deserved.
Starring Neil Maskell in the leading role, the movie follows the titular character nicknamed Bull who embarks on a full-scale revenge mission to make his biggest enemies pay for having double-crossed him back in the day.
Ten years after the events that led Bull to the decision to lay low for a while, he makes his comeback home a pretty bad news for those who got in his way before as he methodically tracks every single one of them down to later on get rid of them. This list also...

British director Paul Andrew Williams’ next film is psychological thriller The Nest, starring Vanessa Redgrave and Andrea Riseborough.
Paul Andrew Williams is synonymous with gritty, low budget British filmmaking. Bursting onto the scene in 2006 with London to Brighton, he quickly built up an impressive filmography including showcasing the glorious double act of Andy Serkis and Reece Shearsmith in horror comedy The Cottage, home invasion horror Cherry Tree Lane and a change of direction with sweet musical comedy Song For Marion, which starred Terence Stamp and Vanessa Redgrave. He returned to his roots in 2021 with dark thriller Bull, a revenge story featuring a powerhouse performance by Neil Maskell. It’s a tough watch but a terrific film, it is currently streaming on Netflix.
Williams will with Redgrave for his next film The Nest, the synopsis reads as follows:

That will change with a Tony and Ziva NCIS spinoff series coming to Paramount+. Here is what you need to know.
