The film has a few connections to A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). The film stars Elm Street veterans Amanda Wyss and Lisa Wilcox, as well as Roberto Lombardi who played Freddy Krueger in the short film series Krueger: Tales from Elm Street (2017). Also stars Diandra Lazor from the Nancy Thompson fan film Don't Fall Asleep (2016).
Roberto Lombardi portrays Officer Englund. The character was named as a homage to Robert Englund and because both actors have played Freddy Krueger.
Filmed in five days in October 2016.
There is a nod to one of Ryan Burton's favorite actresses in the film. The Name of the Radio DJ is Tippi and the last name of Lisa Wilcox's character is Hedren.
