Tatjana Medvecká, Alena Mihulová and Marie Ludvíková were considered for the part of Hana, eventually played by Zuzana Krónerová.
While Czech Television screened the film in its original theatrical form, Slovak Television, which was a minor co-producer, cut the sex scene between Hana and Brona without the director's consent.
