Carly dropped this song in 2011 and the world collectively lost its mind, an iconic song and a fun music video with one wild plot twist. Cant help but sing a long.

A decade ago this catchy and almost annoying song "Call Me Maybe" got into our brains, became a viral meme where everbody could use in internet
posts and attach it to a character (from films, TV series and etc) thanks to its memorable chorus line. For the folks who are more into the visuals
then there was this video clip which was insanely good thanks to its secondary lead (male model Holden Nowell) and the plot twist concerning his
character after spending lots of time being the dreamboat of Carly Rae Jepsen of whom she lusts time and again to the point of embarassment. But she
has a strong point: the man is gorgeous and I have to say that, sorry not sorry.
So here's the deal for those who haven't got the chance to see this masterpiece yet: Carly is your typical pretty girl who just discovers her new neighbor (Nowell) who is insanely hot and she can't stop watching him whether he's shirtless, all abs, tats and packs while cutting grass or drinking water or fixing his car. What starts out with watching from a window grows into a deeper curiosity to the point where she tries to get his attention by washing her car and making poses here and there to no avail. Until one afternoon, and the rest is history.
It's a pity I can't blow the whistle and reveal what's the twist about this which makes it so good and fun to watch. But I guess in our current times only half the audience will be blown away with the revelation, others will find slightly obvious and probably won't see much fun in that.
As for the song, it's way out of my league but I learned to like it, it just grows on you and becomes listeneable despite being quite repetitive.
And truth be told I was only in it because of the guy, probably saw some image elsewhere and got curious to see the video, the guy and ok the song as well since I kept seeing internet memes with the line "I just met you and this is crazy...". In 2011/12 the song was all THAT "incepted" into popular culture. Lots of fun! 9/10.

Seductive for the dosis of humor, cliches, supperficiality, end ad, off course, for Holden Nowell. One of songs like a candy, served by very good video, proposing one of simple, charming and silly old story with not so spectacular moral correct twist.
