Arguably the best Batman and Joker combo in history is getting back together one last time, and the reunion comes as a pretty sizable surprise. Mark Hamill will once again reprise his role as The Joker alongside the late Kevin Conroy's Batman. Conroy voiced the Caped Crusader for decades, from "Batman: The Animated Series" in the early '90s through Conroy's much-too-early death in 2022. We knew Conroy's voice would be used as Batman once again, and now it has been confirmed that Hamill will be reuniting with his former co-star in one of Conroy's final posthumous performances.
According to IGN, Hamill's Joker and Conroy's Batman are both set to appear in the upcoming "Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths -- Part Three." The first part of the adaptation of the classic DC Comics storyline has already been released, with part two arriving in April. It's a big multiverse story,...

Ah, "The Addams Family." They're creepy and they're kooky. Mysterious and spooky. They're all together ooky. And so on. The ghoulish Addamses were created by cartoonist Charles Addams in the pages of The New Yorker before Hollywood came calling, adapting Addams' comics into a TV series in 1964. The series followed a family of weirdos who live every day like it's Halloween, much to the confusion of the normal folks all around them. The original "The Addams Family" series lasted only two seasons, running between 1964 and 1966, but its impact and influence continued for decades.
Sadly, the majority of the original cast of "The Addams Family" are no longer with us. But there's one main player who is still around.

Let me start by saying I am not now, nor have I ever been a fan of Rwby, an American anime series that has been chugging along since its debut in 2013. For the last few years, producer Rooster Teeth has managed to partner with DC Comics for crossovers between the warriors, trained and dedicated to protecting the world of Remnant from Grimms, actual monsters.
I suppose it was inevitable that the comics crossovers would eventually find their way to the animated world where Rwby enjoys its fame. So, released recently is Justice League x Rwby: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part One, available as a 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray/Digital HD combo pack from Warner Home Entertainment.
The World’s Greatest Super-Heroes are brought to Remnant to help the teen heroes save their world. Somehow, DC’s stalwarts wind up as teen versions of themselves, to better match the warriors. As a result,...

Mark Hamill is best known for playing Luke Skywalker in the "Star Wars" films, but even if you add up all of that character's screen time, the Jedi role is tiny compared to his voice work as the Joker in the DC/Warner Bros. Animation TV series and films. He's been cackling in the scariest (and hands-down best) way since 1992 when he was cast in the role for the Emmy Award-winning animated series "Batman: The Animated Series," which was created by Bruce Timm and Eric Radomski.
Since that time, we've heard him mess with Batman as the Clown Prince of Crime in animated films, "Superman: The Animated Series," "The New Batman Adventures," "Static Shock," "Birds of Prey," "Justice League Action," and so many others. Like the late, great Kevin Conroy, who voiced Batman, Hamill has become synonymous with the role. So it's surprising to hear that Hamill almost said no...

In time for the digital streaming release of Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, I had the chance to see a digital version of the film which I reviewed here.
Warner Home Entertainment sent out the 4k Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital HD combo pack for further examination. The feature itself is just lovely to watch on 4K, both audio and video are superb.
The real fun this time are the Special Features starting with the DC Showcase: Adam Strange (16:05). J.M. DeMatteis wrote a fine tale, tragically updating the story of the archeologist who found himself becoming the hero of distant Rann. We see Adam (Charlie Weber ) on Rann, too late to stop a Thanagarian attack that seemed to kill his wife, Alanna. A Zeta beam transports him back to an asteroid mining colony located cheekily in Space Sector 24601, where he succumbs to despair and alcohol. Until… It’s an...

The last DC Animated movie for 2019 is Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. Here's what you need to know.
With the debut of the newest DC animated movie, Batman: Hush, comes a fresh batch of information about its successor. DC has finally given us a good look at Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, the last movie on the slate for 2019, and while much of the information released is not new, there is one extremely promising tidbit that is officially out in the world.
Rosario Dawson continues as Diana, a role she will be playing for the sixth time, and she is joined on the project by veteran comics and cartoon writer Mairghread Scott. Scott has written Diana before, on screen for Justice League Action and on the page as part of Wonder Woman's 75th anniversary special. You might recognize her name from a fun run on Batgirl or as one of the minds behind Windblade and Victarion,...

Joaquin Phoenix left a huge impression in the first “Joker” trailer that Warner Bros. debuted this week, first to massive buzz at CinemaCon and then online where it quickly became a viral sensation. The Todd Phillips-directed movie stars the three-time Oscar nominee as the famous Batman villain. While previous bigscreen Jokers such as Jack Nicholson and Jared Leto have yet to weigh in on the “Joker” trailer, one person with Joker ties who can’t wait for the film is Mark Hamill.
Hamill took to social media in the aftermath of the “Joker” trailer premiere to share his excitement over the project and give Phoenix his blessing, writing, “A diabolically delicious character + a superb actor + a brilliant writer/director = Yes Please!!!” Hamill has voiced the animated Joker since the 1992 launch of “Batman: The Animated Series” on Fox. Last week the first trailer was released for a new sci-fi/horror comedy series called Critters: A New Binge, which is coming to Shudder. Now, we learning that the SyFy Channel secretly shot a new Critters movie based on director Stephen Herek’s 1986 cult film.
According to JoBlo, the project has already finished production. It was shot in South Africa and it was directed by Bobby Miller (The Cleanse). The best part of this is, the original film’s lead actress Dee Wallace is also said to star in the film! She hinted at her involvement with the film in an interview with Bionic Buzz, which you can watch below.
There are no details about the new Critters movie, and there were a bunch of production photos posted on Instagram, but many of those photos have since been removed after word got out.

The classic Critters horror film franchise is returning in the form of a TV series that’s set for streaming service Shudder.
Critters may be but one of several campy horror franchises from the 1980s to – akin to the soon-to-be-animated Gremlins – feature diminutive multiplying mini-monsters, but the imagery of its eponymous alien invaders – resembling demonic bipedal versions of Star Trek Tribbles with shark teeth and T-Rex arms – make them especially memorable, even if the poster image of the toilet monster from Ghoulies was more memorable in its ability to make tense experiences out of nature’s call for a generation. Regardless, Critters is getting a long-overdue return.
AMC Networks’ horror-centric Shudder streaming service will be the platform for a revival television series bearing the meta-minded title, Critters: A New Binge. Moreover, the series is arriving a lot sooner than you might have thought, since the announcement reveals...

Fans can catch an early glimpse of DC’s animated Reign of the Superman feature at premiere events in NYC and La.
Reign of the Supermen will please an enthusiastic fandom with whom this past summer’s DC animated epic, The Death of Superman, resonated, having captured the original pop-culture-proliferating 1992 comic book storyline to a poignant tee. Indeed, Reign, adapting DC’s follow-up storyline that – after less than a year – built up to the resurrection of the martyred Man of Steel, will similarly put a classic comic through a modernized lens; one that certain proactive fans will be able to watch early at a bicoastal premiere screening event!

In the view of this writer, Swamp Thing is certainly poised for his next pop culture boom. I mean, not only have top talents such as Scott Snyder and Charles Soule penned his comic book adventures in recent years, but the Avatar of the Green has also made appearances in animated movies such as Justice League Dark and Batman and Harley Quinn. Come to think of it, fans of all ages have gotten a sampling thanks to Cartoon Network’s Justice League Action.
Well, expect for things to kick into high gear in the very near future when Swampy returns for an all-new live action series on the DC Universe streaming service. Already, we’ve learned of how it’ll be more of a mature affair similar to the platform’s maiden voyage, Titans.

Upon posting the first trailer for Reign of the Supermen the other day, I knew in my bones that much more info regarding the next DC animated movie was sure to follow. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait for too much longer, as the film will drop digitally on January 15, 2019, with Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack and Blu-ray Combo Pack releases bringing up the rear on January 29. Basically, this was what we expected after taking past quarter one debuts into account.

I've been such a huge fan of this Young Justice series and I've got high hopes for its return. So far I've liked what I've seen, especially with that five-minute long trailer that was released during Comic-Con. That definitely stirred up some excitement among the fans!
The superhero line-up also includes Static, Kid Flash, Robin, Wonder Girl, Spoiler, Blue Beetle, Thirteen, Arrowette, Arsenal and Beast Boy. Here's the synopsis:
In Young Justice: Outsiders, the teenage Super Heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets. Constantine has had his problems when it comes to bringing the character from the pages to the big screen. The character was brought to the big screen in a not-so-comic book accurate film in 2005 when he was portrayed by Keanu Reeves. He then had his own live-action series in 2014 which only lasted a season. Yet, fans still love him all the same. So much so that the character has been revived in comic book fashion and has appeared in the CW Arrow-verse throughout the past two years. Now the character is back in a dual-release of Constantine: City of Demons. Get all the details below.

DC Entertainment just dropped the first trailer for the long-awaited Young Justice: Outsiders at Comic-Con! Fans have been waiting to see the return of Young Justice since the original series came to an end, and now the trailer is finally here and it's 5-minutes long! The series looks like it's going to be so good and I'm so excited to watch the adventures of these characters continue.
The footage shows Nightwing, who left the team at the end of season 2, reunite with Superboy, Aqualad, and Artemis for one last mission. That mission is to take on the rise of metahuman trafficking and the ensuing intergalactic arms races to control people with powers. We also get a first look at the show’s newest character, Brion Markov (Troy Baker), the Prince of Markovia, who discovers he has the metahuman gene.

James Woods, who has long maintained homes on both the West and East Coasts, listed one of his two remaining homes in Los Angeles, a mid-century ranch-style bungalow in the Beverly Crest neighborhood above Coldwater Canyon in the Beverly Hills Post Office area, with a $3.3 million asking price. Built in the mid-1950s and measuring in at approximately 2,200-square-feet with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, the unassuming if hardly inexpensive residence was acquired by the two-time Oscar nominee and three-time Emmy winner just over three years ago in what appears to have been an off-market deal that recorded at $2.245 million.

I know many people who would rejoice at the fact that The Thundercats would be returning to TV again. To see Lion-o, wielding the Sword of Omens once more, vanquishing Mum-Ra and his minions would be fantastic. I know I’d be looking forward to it and when Cartoon Network told us just that I was intrigued. Right up until I saw what was in store for us with the upcoming Thundercats Roar!

Warner Bros. Animation is developing a new ThunderCats animated series for Cartoon Network called ThunderCats Roar, and it's definitely not was I was expecting. I am a huge fan of the original ThunderCats series but what they are doing here definitely isn't what I want in a ThunderCats series. ThunderCats was a badass show, and although it's different, I'm not seeing anything really badass about this.
EW released the promo art above and a sneak peek video below that features producer Victor Courtright, who explains that ThunderCats Roar plans on staying true to the original’s premise and will feature tons of action, but that it will also lean into the comedy of the world:
"I think the world that they built lends itself really well to comedy because of how silly and crazy and outlandish those ideas are and some of those settings are. But at the same time,...

Warner Bros. has released a new piece of promo art for their upcoming animated series Young Justice: Outsiders, which will serve as the third season for the classic Young Justice animated series. This art offers us our best look at the return of the animated series yet. It features some familiar faces alongside a few new ones.
From left to right, in the background, we have Tigress, Black Lightning, and Superboy. In the forefront, there's Katana, Geoforce, Wylde, maybe Solstice, Metamorpho, and Nightwing.
In Young Justice: Outsiders, the teenage Super Heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets. In the highly anticipated new season, the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.

General audiences know him best as the heroic Luke Skywalker from the Star Wars saga, but DC fans idolize Mark Hamill for his turn to the Dark Side. The actor has played Batman’s nemesis the Joker across numerous media for over 25 years now, beginning with the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series in 1992. To many, his vocal performance perfectly captures all aspects of the supervillain: his charm and humour, yet also his monstrous, murderous side.
In an interview with Sway’s Universe, Hamill talked about where exactly his portrayal of the Joker comes from. The star revealed that, back when he started doing B:tas, he was influenced by a strange mix of inspirations, including classic black-and-white horror The Invisible Man and TV personalities like Howard Cosell and Jay Leno.
“I would imitate the old Universal horror films and I realize, in retrospect, I wasn’t doing it consciously, but Claude Rains as The Invisible Man…...

With the recent Dceu movie turning out to be not as good as it could have been, there’s still no beating the Justice League animated series as the finest screen adaptation of DC’s super-team to date. Airing from 2001 to 2006 (if you count the revamped Justice League Unlimited as the same show), the series is still remembered fondly – hence the interest in getting the cast back together for a reunion.
As part of the ongoing social media campaign to get Warner Bros. Animation to put something together, actress Susan Eisenberg – who played Wonder Woman – shared a Tweet to whip up some support from fans. In response, one individual questioned whether Mark Hamill could be involved as well, given that he played the Joker in several episodes of the show, which was a spinoff of the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series.

Payton’s character Ezekiel is the self-proclaimed monarch of a community known as The Kingdom. Usually a seemingly-benevolent settlement in The Walking Dead puts us on the alert for sinister secrets. One of the biggest fan favourite villains on The Flash is the Trickster, as played by DC legend Mark Hamill. Though he’s most known for voicing the Joker since the 1990s, Hamill has also played the Trickster on both the 1990 TV series starring John Wesley Shipp and The CW’s modern interpretation.
While he appeared in guest spots throughout the show’s first three seasons, Hamill has been a no-show in season 4 so far. You might have thought that this was to do with the actor being too busy with Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but it turns out he’s just waiting for the call to be asked back. Here’s what he told ComicBook.com while in attendance at the Aarp Movies for Grownups Awards:
“Who knows? They haven’t asked yet. They asked me once, and I agreed, but John was doing a play – John Wesley Shipp.

I wish I had a grandchild to enjoy Scooby-Doo! and Batman: The Brave and the Bold with since I am far from the target audience. I was outgrowing Saturday morning TV when Scooby and the gang debuted and never warmed up to them. Over time, the troublesome teens have encountered countless pop culture celebrities in their storied career but this, their fourth meeting with the Caped Crusader, is a record.
It makes perfect sense that the 1960s homage version of Batman (Diedrich Bader) is used here since it is stylistically appropriate for this sort of crossover. Paul Giacoppo acquits himself well with a breezy script that uses touchstone elements from both series so fans are satisfied. Not long ago, we learned that Warner Bros. intend on bringing Teen Titans Go! to the big screen later this year, thus making us wonder why they didn’t opt to adapt another of their currently running series that’d have broader appeal like, say, Justice League Action, but it’s not our move to make. On the other hand, they could be launching it in tandem with the upcoming live action Titans series, so this could make sense in the end.
Right now, plot details remain scarce, but we at least have this synopsis to go on:
It seems to the Teens that all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies— everyone but the Teen Titans, that is! But de facto leader Robin is determined to remedy the situation, and be seen as a star instead of a sidekick. If only they could get the...

Black Canary was cool. Batman: The Animated Series (Btas) is the definitive Batman in my book. Put the two together and you’ve got amazing potential. Paul Dini, one of the writers for Btas, talked about this with Cbr recently mentioning that the reason Black Canary wasn’t introduced was to feature Robin in more episodes. Dini states:
.Yeah, the Black Canary/Catwoman episode was a casualty. They [Fox] wanted more Robin in the series, and each time we wanted to drop him from a story, we had to fight for it. Not that we had anything against Robin, we just wanted to stretch now and then and do solo Batman stories or episodes that focused mainly on Gordon or the villains. After the experimentation of the first season, the network felt we might be leaving the boys behind, so we got the edict, add more Robin. Other than that, there...

It’s the question DC fans have been asking ever since the Man of Steel sacrificed himself to take down Doomsday in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice: just how exactly is Superman going to return from the dead in Justice League? Would he come back confused, or possibly evil? Would he wear the black and silver suit like in the comics? So many questions, so few answers.

In a quest to try and explain away a couple of weak episodes followed by an objectively terrible one, I tried to dig too far into the mechanics of the show to find a reason why the first part of the season was so rough. The answer was really simple. When the team is the butt of the joke, the show undercuts its reason for existence.
Really, this season is the Booster Gold of the Arrowverse. Booster for those of you who don't know him,...
The Legends of Tomorrow gang does Et and the show gets back on track with a laugh out loud funny episode...

Whoever wrote this sketch for Justice League Action needs a raise, because this is brilliant. Mark Hamill jumps into the world of DC Animation, and is kidnapped by two characters he's helped immortalize with his voice acting. To escape, Hamill uses his voice to turn Joker and Trickster against one another in this hilarious bit of television. Watching this makes me want to check the actual show out! What about you?...

Things get very meta in this latest short for Justice League Action.
As fans of the actor will know, Mark Hamill is a true DC icon thanks to his countless voiceover roles across TV shows, movies and video games over the past twenty or so years. But we’ve never seen him voice every character on screen at once… Until now, that is.
In “Missing the Mark,” the Joker and the Trickster team up to kidnap “famous movie star” Mark Hamill in the hopes of earning a heap of money for his ransom fee. Hamill himself shared the short on his Twitter feed and hilariously captioned it: “The only time I’ve ever done anything while sleeping with the entire cast.”

Nycc 2017: Watch a Deadly Demonic Showdown in New Footage from CW Seed’s Constantine Animated Series
NBC's live-action Constantine series may be no more, but the actor who played the beloved demon hunter, Matt Ryan, returns to voice the iconic character in a new digital animated series that was teased at New York Comic Con in the show's first footage ahead of its premiere on the CW Seed streaming service, and you can now watch it online in case you weren't at the Javits Center over the weekend:
"First Look! New York Comic Con attendees received a first look of Constantine, an all-new animated digital series from Warner Bros. Animation and Blue Ribbon Content following DC’s popular comic book character John Constantine (voiced by the live-action series star Matt Ryan), a seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult. Armed with an arcane knowledge of the dark arts and a wicked wit, he fights the good fight. With his soul already damned to hell, he...

Not long ago, we learned that Warner Bros. intend on bringing Teen Titans Go! to the big screen next year, thus making us wonder why they didn’t opt to adapt another of their currently running series that’d have broader appeal like, say, Justice League Action, but it’s not our move to make. On the other hand, they could be launching it in tandem with next year’s live action Titans series, so this could make sense in the end.
Right now, plot details remain under wraps, but it’s expected that the feature film be a larger scale continuation of the adventures seen on the Cartoon Network animated series on which it’s based. As a successor of the original Teen Titans show, the newer incarnation is much more light-hearted, as its 11-minute episodes focus more on whimsy, song and other things that have proven to be highly divisive amongst DC fans.

DC Entertainment has released a clip from their upcoming new animated series Constantine, giving us our first look at the animated version of the character in action. The series actually looks a lot better than what I was expecting! The animation is pretty solid and it's great to see Matt Ryan bringing the demon hunting character to life again. I always like Matt Rayn in this role. He brought the perfect kind of attitude and charm to the character that you can't help but like.
In the clip, we see John Constantine bring a bunch of demons together in a church where they proceed to battle each other to a bloody pulp.
