Jessy Dubai: TS Superstar

I love the way Nica Noelle's DVD liner notes scrupulously refer to her transsexual actresses as beautiful women, never pigeonholing them as "chicks with dicks". This extremely well-made tribute to the genre's diva Jessy Dubai makes a convincing case for her status as an ideal of feminine beauty, with the extra added attraction (for a sizable niche audience) of possessing a long, hard and perfectly functioning cock.

Much of Dubai's appeal stems from her winning personality and unbounded energy, and Nica through concise interviews lets her demonstrate that. She is frank about originally being male before having considerable body work to feminize her secondary sexual characteristics (but retaining her genitals, unlike the TS message being sent to the general public in films like the current "The Danish Girl"). Even her humorous anecdotes about conversations she's had in lady's bathrooms is illuminating.

Seeing her in action seals the deal -she dominates men, literally, in two segments, while acquiescing to being humped by two studs (Nick Capra and Connor Maguire) in the other two.

Little story lines set up each vignette well - notably the fast-paced, in-your-face opening scene of her fighting with beau Eli Hunter, then angrily choking and slapping the boy as she becomes the top to his bottom. This turns out not be simply a domination exercise, but she is actually demonstrating to him how she wants to be treated herself -an interesting switch that illuminates part of the "reversible sexuality" aspect of these TS clinches. Nica does not go for equal time in this video -there are no cis females in the cast, or other TS girls for that matter, just Jessy opposite four Gay actors.

Much is made here (especially in the BTS featurette) of Gay matinée idol Nick Capra's first sexual encounter with a TS girl, on screen or in real life. Genuine heat is generated between him and Jessy and obviously the fans will dig it. I know nothing of the Gay porn scene but it would be interesting to find out if there is some stigma attached to a beloved star doing a crossover stint like this.

Condoms are used throughout for anal sex, a Safe Sex holdover from the AIDS crisis that for some reason is ignored in straight boy/girl scenes in contemporary porn. Nica has directed a similar tribute to superstar Aubrey Kate, and hopefully will continue to break new ground with adventurous features like these.
