Hands: The Fate of 'Manos' (2015)

MANOS: THE HANDS OF FATE expert and savior Benjamin Solovey is joined by cast members Tom Neyman, Diane Adelson, Jackey Raye Neyman Jones and photographer Anselm Spring as they discuss the production and history of the film. It's rather amazing how this film grew to be such a cult favorite that it got a Kickstarter campaign to get it remastered but it also managed to have a featurette like this done, which in turn got some surviving cast members back to discuss their work on the film.
Solovey has become the best known fan and historian of the film so he offers up a lot of great information on the production of the movie including various people who threw money at the project and he also gives us a look at a type of camera that was probably used. The most fascinating moments come from the cast as they talk about their memories of shooting the film and the various issues that came up throughout production. Of course, the highlight is them talking about the premiere of the movie where they were all so embarrassed. Fans of MANOS will certainly enjoy this 30 minute look at the making of the picture.
