Heroes Manufactured was filmed over the course of 1 year at over 11 Comic Cons across Eastern Canada.
Stan Lee's Last appearance in Canada was at Fan Expo 2016 which is featured in the film.
During filming, Studio Comix was explored as a major part of the story by accidentally meeting with the owners at the Hamilton Comic Con.
Director Yaron Betan was introduced to Ty Templeton, AH Comics, and The Comicbook Embassy through Shane Kirshenblatt a long time friend.
The film was originally set to become a web series, but was decided to become a feature length film.
