Robert Redford is excellent in this film. The tragedy of a man lost at sea. His boat is damaged due to a freight in the Ocean that gauges his sail boat. Redford repairs the damage and it shows the struggles he undertakes to get help and stay alive. The different obstacles he goes through to stay alive. Shows to the viewer that you need to be experienced to undergo such trauma. The Ocean is cruel even to the best sailors. He struggles to the very end of his life. Exceptional acting from one of the greatest actors that graced Cinema. Definitely watch this film of this great story teller Robert Redford.
