In the series premiere, H.G. Wells (FREDDIE STROMA) travels though time to modern-day New York in pursuit of John Stevenson (JOSH BOWMAN) aka Jack the Ripper. / H.G. and Jane continue to search for John Stevenson, but when they finally meet face-to-face, nothing goes as planned, and the Ripper's back on the loose.
