Well written, well directed and well acted. The performances were really extraordinary and the chemistry between Ball and White really cemented this story of pain, healing and hope. I really wasn't sure where the story was going or where it would end up and the ending was a pleasant unexpected surprise. Cinematography was superb as was the score. Highly professional on every level.
I am extremely pleased to have seen this brilliant film. I thought it was meaningful in its allegory, storytelling and portrayal of a human connection in such a subtle and powerful way. Kudos to the actors and director, and all of the crew. Not a single second of any shot was wasted. Thank you for your hard work and talent.

This was a very well written, well acted and assured & confident feature debut from the team of Chris Knoblock & Dana White. Jonas Ball and Jack McGee also give fantastic performances. It was an incredibly original film too, it zigged when normal films zag... I never quite knew where it was going. The production value was off the charts, the film looks and feels like a mulit- million $ effort... Very well done!
This is one of those movies that takes its time. Long beautiful shots, fades to black as well as a moving soundtrack make for a magnificent, moving experience.
I was very deeply moved by this story. Great writing, and such genuine performances.
In the Orchard gives the viewer a story about a veteran with PTSD and a woman that had suffered a great loss and perhaps suffered from PTSD too. Issues of trust and emotional connection, denial and reality hit just the right cord. The chance meeting and the subsequent connection they formed led them down a path that was very dangerous.
I was surprised that Dana White was not featured as the female lead in this film. The acting by everyone was excellent. The chemistry was perfect.
I might add that the directing by Knoblock and the cinematograph just blew me away. The simplicity of the story coupled with the complication of life lived with grief and shock was extraordinary.

Pleasantly surprised. As in this movie, life often brings two people together if only for a while so that needs, and healing might take place. Superb acting and very well written.
