FLIGHT 462 bears the somewhat ignoble fate of being a spin-off show (of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD) of a spin-off show (THE WALKING DEAD). It's one of those web series that lasts only fifteen minutes in total and was originally shown in minute-long segments online.
Inevitably it's basic stuff indeed, about a zombie outbreak on a plane. This is rather old ground that I've previously seen covered in the B-movie likes of QUARANTINE 2 and FLIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, but the short running time means that the pacing is fast and there's plentiful action here.
I did have some budgetary concerns but overall this series doesn't disappoint, and in the space of just fifteen minutes Michelle Ang gets a more likable character than anyone in the whole of season one of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD.

This follows in line with the two previous web episodes linked to the universe of the Walking Dead, which are The Bicycle girl (quite moving) and Self Storage (which is also excellent). This takes place on a plane as it approaches LAX and one patient is infected. Really well done, with a tension that the parent show (Fear) so far has been able to produce, and a quickly evolving story. This is well worth watching. One character is supposed to survive and join the cast of Fear. Maybe that will bring some spark to the parent show which so far, has been glacially slow with an unlikable cast. I'm hoping that AMC will continue with the creation of these mini shows, and do what they did here - show it on TV as well as making it available on TV. It actually better than the first two season of Fear.
Of all the webisode series of "The Walking Dead" or any of its spin-offs, then I have to say that "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462" is definitely one of the most interesting and entertaining.
The storyline in "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462" is really well-written and it is a very intense and thrilling one. There is just something about the confinement of an airplane and with the spread of zombie infection onboard, it just becomes a real nightmare. The writers and director of "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462" really knew how to play on these elements, and it makes it a very enjoyable and entertaining viewing experience.
I especially like the way that "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462" is tied into the "Fear the Walking Dead". It is a subtle tie-in, sure, but it just works wonderfully, because it adds a layer to the series that you would not perhaps otherwise have thought about.
The acting performances in "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462" are good, and they have some good talents on the cast list. Michelle Ang really carries the webisodes quite nicely with her performance. And it certainly was nice to have Frank Dillane in one episode as well, making the tie-in with the "Fear the Walking Dead" series itself all the more comprehendable.
Visually then "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462" was good. It is a simple, yet effective, use of special effects and make-up. But it works, because it shows the early stages of infection. So of course you don't have rot and decay going on in this webisode series.
If you enjoy any of "The Walking Dead" or the spin-off series, then you certainly have to sit down and watch "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462".
My rating of "Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462" lands on an eight out of ten stars.

Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 well yeah (TWD)s universe is so big and am so excited that those backstories are made into webisodes, the character of Alex ( Michelle Ang) made so much sense in (15 minute) she quickly grabbed my interest in her she was interesting, the more interesting is that she also joined (FTWD) for two episodes, after that we still don't know Will she return or no to the main show?hopefully she is worth the chance, totally this was a good storyline for them but there is more you can get from Alex, highly recommended for (FTWD) fans, 8.5/10⭐

... it's definitely on YouTube. Just put the title into the search. Apparently there have been other themed "webisodes" as well and they have been thoughtfully compiled into mini-movies.
So if you just watched the last episode of "Fear.." and was sure the party is over,
You have one more thing to watch.
The following are placeholder characters, I merely intended to inform the various people who recently departed an Amish enclave or whatever legitimate reason people might have for not knowing anything at all about the internet and how to find content. I only have 29 characters left and I'll be back to remove this and fix this review to make it an actual review. Bye now.

Like someone asked earlier, how do you watch this? It's on my favorite list and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to watch this. Can't rate what I can't watch.
