An evil zamindaar doubling as a dacoit in secret murders an honest police officer who gets to the truth. The cop's separated 2 sons grow up years later on opposite sides as a dacoit and a police officer seeking revenge.

Text: Ram Singh lives a dual life - as rich evil landlord zamindaar at day and at night he is dreaded dacoit, murderer, robber Hoshiyaar Singh. He is challenged by and finally murders daredevil honest Inspector Ranjeet Singh. He kidnaps Ranjeet's eldest son Jay to stop Ranjeet's wife Durga from seeking justice. His henchman Fakira, a man with heart of a good man robs Ram Singh and frees Jay, who has lost his memory after torture at hands of Ram Singh. Years later Jay is now leader of Fakira's rebel dacoits fighting for oppressed and Vijay, his younger brother returns to the same police station as a police officer where their lives changed for worst years ago. Both cross paths first as friends then later as foes unaware of their blood relations and same mission of revenge when Jay finally recovers his memory. Seema, Ram Singh's daughter loves Vijay, while Gauri, a local girl Jay saved from being forcefully married to Ram Singh's molesting brother falls for Jay. Both cross paths first as friends then later as foes. Both first meet when Ram Singh's good for nothing brothers Sajjan and Durjan try to molest Gauri and are trashed by both heroes unaware of their blood relations. Gauri falls in love with Jay. Later Ram Singh facing humiliation to his Thakur pride due to this incident sends marriage proposal for Gauri to his brother Sajjan which Gauri opposes. During this time Seema who was kept away from father Ram Singh's evil regime to city returns after finishing education. To teach Ram Singh a lesson on what it is to suffer pain of a daughter being targeted to rescue Gauri, Jay decides to kidnap Seema but is foiled in time by Vijay. In the fight that ensues Jay gets flashes of his forgotten childhood memories when both brothers replicate fighting moves they learned as kids from their father Ranjeet Singh. later his memories return pitting both brothers on revenge mission in own way.

Seema and Vijay falls in love after the encounter with Jay, but Vijay faces dilemma when he knows her true identity as daughter of Ram Singh. Gauri is kidnapped successfully by Jay to save her from her forced marriage to Sajjan Singh. As ram Singh's attempts to kill Vijay through treachery and Vijay's attempts to find evidence against Ram Singh increase, how will fate resolve the complicated paths of both separated brothers on opposite sides of the law?
