Mumbai the soul character of the movie never stops fascinating any cine lover....
A beautiful topic dealt with by less known (I was seeing most of those faces for the first time!) actors... "less known", However, excellent for their role... I couldn't pull out one who was OK OK... each one gave their hearty best and have lived that character.. and "Vola"...
Marathi, Konkani, Hindi, English, Parsi and Tamil... a FUNTABULOUS blend of these languages brings charming originality...
I am not breaking the story here... since I see you have few clues already... Watch this refreshingly refreshing movie... I bet you would feel good! Thanks to StarGoldSelect :D

The movie that comes love. No story, no beginning, no ending. This shows the usual life on a larger picture and the struggles of each character and still how they outplay it to survive and stay happy together. It is some sport happened to be soccer that brings them every Sunday together to rejoice, and the sport that brings in new relationships..
This movie has life. And this will be etched in my memory and has definitely earned a place in my heart for years to come.
The beautiful thing that does not bore you about this film is all due to the acting. Acting of all the characters are so professionally normal, that it does not look like an overacting for the sake of the film. Really appreciate the direction too. Such a real movie, that has no item songs, no heavy punch dialogues, no heavy dance, no heavy story, a very light hearted film in an extraordinary way.

I watched this film for the sole purpose of seeing the way Barun Sobti has acted before. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how refreshing the storyline was.
There are many bollywood films nowadays who try really hard to be funny or action packed, or dramatic. However, this film had me hooked from the start; it made me laugh and I was totally engrossed.
This is well worth a watch.

The story of this movie is based on the life of 5 men. Each of them during their weekdays are facing certain problems either in personal or work life. And the sunday that arrives as a end day of the week, but for them it arrives as an escape day from their everyday problem. As they get to play football on sunday.
But one sunday they decide to play football in Goa as they were not able to find a decent place to play football in their city. That is where they discover the weakness of each other. That is where they realise that they are just evading the challenges of their lives just by hanging out with the excuse of playing football on Sundays. And that is where they decide to take charge of one's own effort to bring a change they want in their lives.
I think you can connect yourself with either of the five characters of the film. It brings the fact to your notice that it is only the sunday when you can take aa break in your routine life and do whatever you want to do for yourself. You will value a Sunday much more once you watch this film. And if you feel like you are just living for the sunday, I really think you should watch this movie.

I stumbled upon this movie accidentally and man I loved it so much. It made me cry a numbers of times. The relationships shown, be it between friends, co-workers, mother son, brothers, neighbours, father daughter, every relationship shown in this movie has a certain depth to it.
I would recommend it to everyone! Must watch.
What a refreshing story with so many of refreshing cast. I don't know where to begin or to end, I'm huge fan of Malayalam cinema wherein they bring the cast that gets immersed into the story and I saw that happening here. Wonderful and fantastic.

Milind Dhaimade's debut directorial is like a breath of fresh, warm air in Bollywood. A poignant film that critiques a lack of open spaces in Mumbai. Talking about a bunch of five friends - some in their late 20s and others in early 30s, Tu Hai Mera Sunday, although obnoxiously titled, claims that this lack of open spaces where humans cannot unwind periodically is what is making them go mad. It says that it is one of the biggest issues that we do not fight against today, and instead compromise with our jobs that we don't like, relationships that are toxic, by holding grudges that are painful, and whatnot. While I can relate to this relevant theme, where Tu Hai Mera Sunday fails is in its climax. After promising a lot of things and even going hellbent emotional over it, it ends like a splash of effervescent water. I'm not talking about a solution, but a steady crescendo to whatever the writers had in their mind. There's a scene towards the end where a guy goes emotionally berserk about how his friends are just compromising with their lives - and that's where the theme ends. The remaining parts are fillers. However, what makes the film appealing is these fillers - these tasty sequences that director Dhaimade captures using his able actors to bring out the best about life in general. Whether it is Barun Sobti's innocence or Shahana Goswami's outwardly cool attitude or Avinash Tiwary's jokes, the film sustains because of these bulbs of moving drama that just makes you feel good. With an overall superior cast performance and a slightly off writing here and there, Tu Hai Mera Sunday is a feel-good film that must be watched but not loved. Don't get any ideas. TN.
Entire cast was very good and the movie is fantastic I've no words to say. Just watch it guys you'll love it.

My Rating : 7/10
A refreshing movie among a plethora of other Bollywood movies where song and dance, cheap tricks and gimmicks are used to lure the audience - 'Tu Hai Mera Sunday' is truly a labour of love and a very enjoyable watch.
If you know life in Mumbai you'll understand the plot and characters much better and the movie becomes that much more of a personal experience.

#TuHaiMeraSunday is an entertaining n interesting film. Set in Mumbai, it is about five friends who play football at Juhu beach, every Sunday. One fine day, they are restricted from playing n the search for a new venue starts. The film discusses topics like space crunch in developed cities, the bond between mom-son, dad-daughter n brother-brother, disgruntled employees, horrible bosses, tolerance power n bottled-up frustrations. Sobti n Goswami r excellent, u can't help falling in love with them. The remaining actors r also terrific. You will definitely exit the theater with a smile. Rating 3/5.

Tu Hain Mera Sunday is a movie with a lot of thought put into it. I was in awe of how Sunday was a metaphor for something essential and blissful which we miss out on being busy with life. Sunday is contrast of everything a banal Monday brings in a routine life. A must watch!
Very simple storyline and well made movie. All the characters in the are very relatable and a refreshing storyline. They must make many such movies.

I feel ashamed to say that I missed such a classic movie back in 2017, watched this movie in 2020 on Netflix. Since then I have made sure everyone in my family and friends do watch this gem. It's my all time favourite, and today's day and age with the advent of OTT where we honestly can't complain that there is no good content, but I still miss a simple, authentic and endearing movie like Tu Hai Mera Sunday. The biggest element in this movie was the city Mumbai. Two pillars of strength of the movie is it's stellar casting and script.

Tu Hai Mera Sunday is a heartwarming film about a group of friends who come together to play cricket on Sundays. The film is set in Mumbai, a city that is constantly on the go. The friends find solace in their weekly game of cricket, which provides them with a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The film is directed by Milind Dhaimade, who does a wonderful job of capturing the essence of Mumbai and the bond between friends. The cast is also excellent, with Barun Sobti, Shahana Goswami, and Vishal Malhotra all giving memorable performances.
Tu Hai Mera Sunday is a feel-good film that will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired. It is a reminder that even in the most chaotic of cities, there is always room for friendship, love, and laughter.
Here are some of the things I liked about the movie:
* The film is heartwarming and inspiring.
* The cast is excellent.
* The film captures the essence of Mumbai.
Here are some of the things I didn't like about the movie:
* The film is a bit slow at times.
* The ending is a bit predictable.
Overall, I enjoyed Tu Hai Mera Sunday. It is a well-made film with a lot of heart. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a feel-good movie.
Here are some additional thoughts about the movie:
* I liked how the film showed the importance of friendship and community. The friends in the film are all from different walks of life, but they come together to form a strong bond.
* I also liked how the film showed the importance of finding time for leisure and relaxation. In today's fast-paced world, it is easy to get caught up in work and forget to take time for ourselves. The friends in the film make a point of playing cricket every Sunday, and it is clear that this helps them to de-stress and recharge.
* Overall, I thought Tu Hai Mera Sunday was a well-made and enjoyable film. It is a reminder that even in the midst of a busy and chaotic life, it is important to make time for the things that are important to you.

An enchanting movie about the lives of 5 men who all look for some peace and quiet on sundays, away from their normal challenges. Slow paced and realistic
