A Brief History of Graffiti

2/8/18. If you are a true believer that graffiti is an art form, then this short documentary is for you. An art historian makes his case by linking graffiti to cave art (a long stretch) to the modern day urban defacement of public buildings and transportation. Or, the galleries of modern-day graffiti artists. You can see it as beautifying the urban landscape but it is totally repulsive to see graffiti scrawled all over such iconic cities like Rome and Naples. It just cheapens the beauty of those cities.
