Riding high with the blockbuster success of Chiranjeevi-starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Surender Reddy is going to direct Akhil in a powerful story provided by Vakkantham Vamsi.

This crazy combination of Akhil Akkineni and Surender Reddy is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under Ak Entertainments banner and Surender Reddy’s Surrender2cinema banner.

Given that Surender Reddy is known for presenting his heroes at their stylish best, he is prepping up to show a new version of Akhil Akkineni in his 5 th film.

Ak Entertainments, which started 2020 on bang with the blockbuster Sarileru Neekevvaru, is going to continue its success streak with Akhil 5 on a grand scale. Other cast and crew details will be announced soon.

Sandalwood The actress is now working on Kv Anand’s Kaappan starring Mohanlal, Suriya and Arya. Digital NativeKannada powerstar Puneeth Rajkumar and director Santosh Ananddram, who had tasted success in their previous outing Raajakumara, are all set to collaborate for another venture. If all goes well, Sayyeshaa Saigal will make her Sandalwood debut as the leading lady in the new project, titled Yuvaratna. Sayyeshaa, who began her career with the Telugu film Akhil starring Nagarjuna’s son Akhil Akkineni in the lead role, is currently busy with the Kv Anand directorial Kaappan. The movie stars Mohanlal, Suriya and Arya as the male leads. Meanwhile, Yuvaratna is bankrolled under the banner Hombale Films, which recently gave the hit movie Kgf starring Yash. The shooting of Yuvaratna is slated to begin on Valentine’s Day, February 14. The movie, which was announced on November 1, will see Puneeth donning the role of a college-goer.

Hello, directed by Vikram Kumar had Akhil in the lead role with Kalyani Priyadarshan making her debut as the female lead. The highly anticipated teaser of Akhil Akkineni's second feature film, Hello has been released. Akhil is marking his re-launch, which is directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam fame.

The teaser starts with Nagarjuna's voiceover saying, "The luckiest people on the Earth meet their soulmates against all odds".

The  teaser which is slightly longer than a minute, is filled with stunning visuals and promises to offer high-end action sequences.

Akhil Akkineni’s debut film may have turned out to be a dud at the box office but the Akkineni fans haven’t written him off as yet.

After waiting for nearly two years and after numerous discussions, his second film went on to the floors early this year. Expectations are high on his upcoming film Hello which is due for release on December 22, to cash in on the long Christmas weekend.

The film was supposed to go on to the floors last year but Akhil’s father, Nagarjuna, had suggested some major changes to the script.

Akhil Akkineni’s debut as a hero with Akhil turned out to be a dud at the box office and the young actor took a short break before actually signing up for his next film. He is now busy with the Vikram Kumar directorial Hello.
