It is still a good horror movie but after seeing dabbe 3, 4 and 5, this one doesn't have the same intensity of its predecessors. Hope the next one does what this one failed to. That said, am still a big fan of the director and the series and I liked this one too.

Being an avid thriller/chiller/horror fan especially of the supernatural kind its very hard to find a movie that rattles you.
I clicked on this half heartedly but immediately was gripped.
Everything you want - from dark rooms with those who deal in dark magic, vulnerable victims. to unlikely helpers with a twist to them - loaded pauses and screen flashes of information that leave you feeling chaotic, displaced and more than nervous ...
The acting was exceptional for all characters involved, with only a few cheesy scenes that let this good acting down i.e.. When Alyia swishes a knife from behind a flimsy gold curtain,
As the movie goes on it works its magic on you - you buy into the sheer panic, chaos and fear of those involved, never really knowing which way things are going to fall and so the suspense builds slowly but deadly.
The make up is actually not at all bad, the special affects ever so slightly rough round the edges reminding you of Blair Witch, but the greatness of this overall movie absorbs its weaker points.
I would definitely recommend this movie to horror or thriller or supernatural fans .... and I wont ever be using the word 'Damn' again ... you know .... just in case !!!!!

I found out about the dabbe series while browsing through IMDb once and decided to give them a go as they had pretty rave reviews. before watching the 6th part I indulged myself into Dabbe: Cin Çarpmasi (2013) & Dabbe: Bir Cin Vakasi (2012) respectively. I loved the former and found the latter to be above average too.
I was excited to watch this latest installment because of the above mentioned movies but sadly i was thoroughly disappointed. It seemed the director wanted to involve too many horror elements and was not able to contain the cesspool he created. The result was a boring, illogical movie that would make you scratch your head and think "Where have I seen it before?"
I agree it was creepy and the gore was good but it was really bad at the same time. Following are some of the things that i absolutely hated.
1. The movie is shot in a really weird way. There is a strange vignetting effect in nearly 70% of the reel. The center of the frame is clear whereas the rest is blurred on purpose. As the movie progresses the director switched to shaky cam give it a found footage effect unnecessarily and that annoyed me greatly.
2. The pacing is really slow with nothing happening at all in the first 60 minutes. We just see Alya getting possessed, mouthing words and pouncing on people aimlessly.
3. The special effects were just terrible. I don't expect such horrible imagery in movie released in 2015.
4. A lot of scenes seemed to be inspired or directly copied from major Hollywood movies. One of the renditions of the jinn seemed to be taken from "the woman in black" for example.
5. The director tries too hard to shock the audience and it stops working after a while as it starts getting too long and boring. A lot of scenes could have been done away with, without altering the story.
My advice is to avoid this movie if you have watched the previous films in the series. This has nothing new to offer.

I think his time has been extended too long. What is 2 hours 40 minutes? Unnecessarily extended dream scenes, absurd and unnecessary blurry shots. The purpose is to scare you in this movie but the best is given to set aside your feelings and tell you the result is logically removed from the movie to consider. If you think about it, the movie will sound ridiculous. The visual effects were bad for the year! The script was very similar to other Dabbe movies, obviously I expected creativity in this movies. There were logic errors. Example: Twist of the Cafer event. The twist thing is good, but it's ridiculous. The film is over, but you still have a lot of questions left in your mind. How did this happen? Why? How? such thoughts remain in your mind. I think the movie can't explain these questions. Away for so long, still remain question marks in mind after the movie came out the audience about the movie or separate is a farce. Isn't it always the point of scare people director? Where's the quality?

After watching the Dabbe series, it is clear that director, Hasan Karacadag, has mastered his technique. Dab6e has achieved a level of raw terror that is so rare that I almost thought I could never feel it again. The film is not afraid to scare its audience, which is a common problem with Western horror films in our generation. Dab6e is currently the most terrifying film I have ever seen. As usual there will be poor ratings by the public, but I advise horror fans to sit down in a dark silence and view this film. Dab6e uses the classic formula of its predecessors however the film has the highest level of terror in the series.
Dab6e uses a large number of horror elements which are used to petrify the viewer: gore, witchcraft, demons etc. Along with the classic Dabbe twist. Combining these into a film that keeps you captivated the whole way. Simply brilliant. Bravo Dab6e bravo 9/10

I've never seen a movie like this in my life. I would recommend it to you if you just want to watch a movie full of jumpscare, but I'm sure even you're going to hate it.

Never has any horror movie done this to me what dab6e has done... I couldn't sleep last night till the sun came out.. I can't go to washrooms or move around the house alone... i see flashes from the movie when i close my eyes.. I AM SO PARANOID! Maybe the feeling will settle down soon but it's been over 12 hours and I'm still terrified. And to top it all these are all true events. The movie contained all the elements that scares me for one; twisted bodies, scary faces, HUMMING, DISTANT CRYING, blood, meat, black magic, dark rooms, RED LIGHTS, weird smiles.. idk why this is so low rated.. maybe bcuz it has little music? Or that the ending kept us all unsure of what really happened...? Giving it a 10/10 cuz I'm scared beyond words. Gonna go pray now!

This film is a relentless onslaught on the senses; and not in a good way. The aim of the director is to somehow scare the viewer by throwing every horror film trope on him; but the effect is disgusting instead of being scary or creepy.
Overuse of dream-within-dream sequence, overuse of people approaching possessed individuals and being attacked by them, overuse of Djinn-possessed characters screaming at others - this movie is heavy on jump-scares and very low on actually telling the story. The director seems to have lost the page on which the script was written and he tried to fill in 80% of the film by showing zombies tearing flesh off people, doing horrible things in dreams and badly animated CGI sequences.
In one sequence, we are incredibly treated to a dream-within-a dream, within-another-dream, within-yet-another-dream. So you have the wife killing her husband and then waking up to realize that she was dreaming. Then she is attacked by Djinns, but even this is a dream and she wakes up and her husband cannot recognize her and is attacked by her sister. Then he wakes up and finds that it is a dream. Then the possessed sister runs off and attacks the couple and both wake up to again find that they have been dreaming the same things. Phew!
If you have seen other films in this series, you will already know the inevitable plot twist that will come in the ending. The movie could have cut out all the endless sequences of possessions, dreams and zombie attacks and focused on the story in a shorter, tightly edited version; and that would have made this a much better product.

What happened to dabbe series? Is he the same director who made dabbe cin capamasi and dabbe bir cin vakasi or someone else? It seems like he ran short of ideas and tried to scare audience with cheap jump scares and loud audio. The horror scenes he filmed are ridiculous just with blood and bad makeup and effects. I watch dabbe zehr-i-cin and did not like it and wanted to give this a go by reading amazing reviews about this movie but seems like all reviews are fake as the movie is just bad. I will not going to watch any other movie of this dabbe series unless he made another like dabbe cin capamasi.

Dabbe is a decent series to watch with friends. As I expected from the Dabbe 6, there were some disappointments.
1. The story was stretched by force, not with micro details, hints, or anything like that.
2. The FX, camera positions, and lighting were too complex to handle. There were too many jump scares which was not that good except for some.
3. The most vital part is to be the story and the plot, right? Trust me, it was chaos. If you know the Islamic History of Djinn or Jinn you will find out that easily. They tried to merge Djinn with ghoul and haunted soul but I can assure you they failed to visualize that part.
4. Twists were good. But what good thing a twist can bring without an explanation? Twists will give you a super thrill for a moment but I am sure the writer or director failed to explain how everything happened.
Lastly, there are so many things I can say about this movie, you might also feel dizzy sometimes. But you will enjoy this movie with your lover who has never watched horror movies. At least those cringe-jump scares will let her scream where you will get the fun in that! Lol. Just kidding.
Enjoy!!

This is my ist ever review of any of the movie.
Wow what a movie haven't seen a movie like this every one worked very well.
For me it's The most horror movie of all time.
When you go on making a series, at some point of time your imagination might fail you and that has exactly happened with this movie. It just keeps on dragging with continuous concocted terror elements, which do not really scare, but only makes one fear for the rating of this film

I loved Dabbe 4. Looked everywhere for Dabbe 3 but to no avail. Somewhat liked dabbe 5. So, I PAID for Dabbe 6 on prime. And I have never been more disappointed about a movie.
There is NOTHING but jump scares in this. You'll realize something is sketchy from the beginning. Plot at the end does feel good but it's wasteful after a horrendous 1st and 2nd acts. Everything reeks of fakeness right from the beginning to the very end.
4 was a classic. I had such high hopes for the 6th version of this franchise. Truly, truly disappointing. Massive let down.
It's cringe to the extent of comedy.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. From a true horror genre lover.
