This Movie Was Filmed in Dahlonega, Ga, USA.

Although widely considered a television film, actually had a very limited theatrical run a little over a month prior to its television debut, in three American cinemas, one in Dahlonega, Georgia and two in North Carolina (Charlotte and Kings Mountain). Overall, fourteen theatrical screenings were held across those three cinemas.

Mr. Baxter's picture is a green tint so that he looks like the Grinch.

The painting in the Haywood's dining room is of Baldwin, GA. A larger, mural version, was hand painted on a wall in the farmers market in Baldwin, on Airport Road.
