Exclusive: Hot on the heels of a big win at the Clio Entertainment Awards last night, transatlantic creative agency Silk Factory has made a trio of hires and opened an interactive production arm in the UK.

Stephen Schwartz and Amanda Pulver have joined as Vice Presidents, while executive producer Richard Loader will lead the interactive production division. This comes after Silk Factory launched a West Coast office in L.A. led by former Warner Bros. and Lionsgate exec Ross Necessary as COO.

Pulver has spent 10 years in L.A., but is joining Silk Factory’s London office as VP and Creative Director. She will also focus on global business development across entertainment, consumer brands and music. She has worked at companies such as Universal Pictures, Buddha Jones and Ignition in senior roles. Paramount just released the film’s first teaser trailer, the title, a short logline and the full cast list for the upcoming film.

Here’s the short and sweet logline: “Our lives are the sum of our choices. Tom Cruise is Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.”

Ethan Hunt is back ... for the final time? The trailer for the next "Mission: Impossible" film is here, and it brings with it a new title that raises an eyebrow or two. The flick is called "Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning," and the word "final" in there seems to imply this will be the last adventure for the Impossible Mission Force. At one point, this movie was going to be called "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two," as the previous entry was "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One." But "Dead Reckoning Part One" underperformed at the box office, and studio Paramount quickly dropped the "Part One" from the title by the time the film hit digital and Blu-ray.

The title may be different, but "The Final Reckoning" will still be a continuation of the previous film, as "Dead Reckoning" ended on a cliffhanger with villain Gabriel (Esai Morales) getting away.

The title for Tom Cruise’s eighth “Mission: Impossible” movie has finally been revealed, along with the first trailer.

“The Final Reckoning” is now the official title for “Mission: Impossible 8,” which was originally slated to be the “Part Two” to 2023’s “Dead Reckoning.” It’s scheduled to be released on May 23, 2025. Exclusive: Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill’s production company Crooked Highway has hired Vince Cheng as President of Production and Adriana Fernandez as Director of Development, Deadline has learned.

Cheng will oversee all aspects of film and TV development and production, while Fernandez will be responsible for guiding all stages of film and TV development and production.

Previously, Cheng was a producer for PlayStation Productions, adapting PlayStation’s 1st Party video games into films and television shows. Highlights include the award-winning series The Last of Us, Twisted Metal series, Uncharted and Gran Turismo. Rebecca Ferguson, star of Dune and Mission Impossible, will line up alongside Andrew Garfield, Claire Foy, Nicola Coughlan, Jessica Gunning and Jennifer Saunders in the film adaptation of Enid Blyton’s beloved children’s classic The Magic Faraway Tree.

Deadpool is told that Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) was his universe's Anchor Being, and his death in the movie "Logan" started to make things unravel. Deadpool feels he can save his universe by replacing the dead Wolverine with another one, kidnapped from a different alternate universe. He steals a dimension-hopping widget, and begins looking for a suitable replacement.
