After Jeff Lynne and his Electric Light Orchestra embarked on their first U.S. tour in 35 years this summer, the Rock Hall-inducted act will return to North America for an encore trek in 2019. Norman Harris of Norman’s Rare Guitars, located in Tarzana, CA, has partnered with Heritage Auctions to offer rare and iconic Tom Petty guitars and memorabilia from his personal collection.
The auction, set to take place in Dallas, TX on July 21, 2018, includes a lot featuring Petty’s personally owned 1965 Gibson Sg Cherry Electric Guitar and top hat, expected to garner as much as $300,000 based off of recent auctions of similar notoriety. The collection includes other rare guitars and memorabilia, such as stage-worn clothing, and marks the first offering of Tom Petty guitars since the late singer’s death in October 2017.
The early 1965 Gibson Sg Electric Guitar, serial number 2775535, features a cherry finish, pearloid inlay on face and headstock, and the signature “Tom Petty ’88.” Petty notably played the instrument with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers while touring with Bob Dylan’s “True Confessions Tour” in 1987. Hey "NCIS" fans. Unfortunately, it's that time again where we have to inform you that your favorite show is scheduled to be delayed for another week before they begin the final four episode countdown. So, this coming Tuesday, April 24, 2018, CBS will not be airing a new episode. Instead, the next, new episode 21 is scheduled to air on Tuesday night, May 1, 2018 in the usual 7 pm central time slot on CBS. So, be sure to mark that important date down on your TV calendars. The good news is that this will be the last delay of the season. The final four episodes will all air in back-to-back weeks. So, what will CBS be airing on Tuesday night, April 24,2018 instead NCIS? According to the TV Guide listings, CBS will still be airing NCIS. However, they will only be reruns. From 7 pm to 9 pm central time on that night, they are going to air two hours of NCIS reruns.

Goteborg Film Festival has announced its programme of nearly 450 films from 84 countries to screen during the festival’s 40th anniversary edition (Jan 27-Feb 6).
As reported earlier, the festival will kick off with Dome Karukoski’s Tom Of Finland.
The eight films (all world premieres) competing for the Dragon Award for Best Nordic Film – with a prize of $110,500 (Sek 1m) — are as follows:

The winner of the Eurimages Lab Project Award from Haugesund’s Works In Progress presentations was Katrín Ólafsdóttirs The Wind Blew On from Iceland.
The new prize, worth $56,000 (€50,000) was given to “the most promising cutting-edge film presented as a work in progress”.
The jury was comprised of Norwegian filmmaker Bent Hamer, Dorien van de Pas of the Netherlands Filmfund, and Heidi Zwicker of Sundance.
Head of New Nordic Films Gyda Velvin Myklebust noted that the award was aimed at a film that was “experimental in form or content”.
Of the 20 films presented, industry buzz was highest for pitches including Izer Aliu’s energetic and funny teenage story 12 Dares; Norwegian debut The Tree Feller; Fenar Ahmad’s Danish criminal underworld drama/thriller Darkland, Danish debut Winter Brothers; family animation Richard The Stork (already a hot seller for Global Screen); absurdist Norwegian comedy Lake Over Fire; and Danish drama Mesteren, starring Soren Malling and Jakob Oftebro and directed by [link...
