Filmed in an eclectic garden, full of fruit trees, cacti and furniture fashioned out of pickaxes and shovels, "The First Upvote" features a cast of Top Writers from Quora (www.quora.com), pitted against each other in a high-stakes game of Red Light, Green Light.
Directed by Scott Danzig, who makes an appearance as a scary-looking but ineffectual Zombie, it's a nod to classic silent-film horror, except it's more silly than scary. Costumed and styled by Mira Zaslove, Amanda Tendler and Annie Lindseth, the outfits initially make no sense, but they add to the mirthful undertones of the film.
Safe for kids, safe for work, but maybe not safe if you're too much of a know it all.
Ten stars, hands down.
