While far from the absolute diaster one may expect given the ratings between 1 and 3 that most spectators gave to this movie, it is indeed very problematic. There are serious drawbacks in many different elements, which make the supernatural background never be felt as interesting. The story itself is underdevelopped, with the background never justifying what eventually happens. The script also has one more sin: there are bizarre and nonsense dialogues: 1) In a scene, a character tries to answer a phone call because she notices that it was the phone number of her friend who vanished in the jungle and obviously imagines that he was trying to make contact; however, her mother gets the phone and tells her not to worry and to rest, as "now it was the police business". In another scene, the policemen interrogates the girl, who says that she dows not know the answers for what he is asking; then he asks her if she does not know or if she does not remember. I may also add that there is a cheesy soundtrack, of the kind of cheap thriller, mixed with bad pop rock. Acting is far from succeed too: the supporting younger casting is not skilled.
