Excellent, highly entertaining interview with Italian director Umberto Lenzi who discusses his now notorious film CANNIBAL FEROX. Lenzi, clearly not the biggest fan of the film, doesn't have a filter here as he's incredibly honest about the making of the picture as he discusses a wide range of subjects. He starts off talking about how he got involved in the making of the film and then we switch to the actual shooting. Lenzi shares many stories about how hard it was to film the movie because of the horrid locations. He also opens up about the main cast members and how most of them were snobs. He really goes off about Giovanni Lombardo Radice who has viciously attacked him and this film in the past few years. There's also a lot of discussion about the animal violence and he's passionate that he did nothing wrong since what was killed was eaten. If you're a fan of Lenzi or CANNIBAL FEROX then this here is going to be a must see as the director is clearly passionate about his films even though that really can't be said about this one since he pretty much admit he hates it but loves the royalty checks that keep coming in.
