The TreeSchoolers are having a Flower Fair, and each is bringing their favorite. Bongo doesn't know what his favorite flower is or where flowers come from. Rachel and his friends work together to learn about the parts of plants, photosynthesis, how plants grow, what plants need to survive, and how it is okay for everyone to like different things.

Hue the firefly feels insignificant and worthless because as an insect he is very small. His friends want to learn more about insects, and Rachel leads them on a lesson of discovery. They learn what makes insects different from other animals, the many ways they are the same, and the many ways they are different from each other. Hue learns that even the smallest creatures are important.

The TreeSchoolers are having a talent show, and everyone is demonstrating their abilities -- everyone except Penny. She doesn't know what her special talent is. As the talent show progresses, the TreeSchoolers learn many amazing things that animals can do. In the process, Penny discovers some truly special things about herself.

It's time for a science fair at the TreeSchool. Everyone has an experiment to share, but Isaac's is not working yet. The TreeSchoolers learn about magnetism, the states of matter, light, density, and the scientific reasoning process. Most of all, they learn to keep trying when they face setbacks.
