There will be a lot of reviews pointing out the historical inaccuracies and errors made within the film, and I won't refute that. When viewing for the first time I expected these faults in the writing and took them into account. It isn't the worst movie of all time, nor is it the best. The acting is sketchy and the graphics are average at best, but that's not what this flick is for. Of course there are things wrong with it, but that's the point. The film wasn't made for the purpose of historical accuracy, but as a simple sci-fi, action picture that would provide 90 minutes of entertainment. But when you see a description of a passenger aircraft from 2015 travelling through time to 1940, what did you honestly expect? Not a horrible movie, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes basic action and a bit of corny drama.

This is the 3rd film from The Asylum that I have read positive reviews about. What are they now paying people to write good reviews? Or are they logging in and writing them themselves? Either way, a film by The Asylum is always going to be awful. Always check the production company before buying, renting or downloading. If it's done by The Asylum, your wasting your time and money. They wouldn't know how to produce a good film if it fell in their lap. The only thing they know how to do is put out a cheap low budget movie. We can thank the Syfy channel for them. If it wasn't for Syfy buying and airing their crap, they would have folded along time ago.

Why all the negative reviews based upon the lack of factual accuracy in this movie? Did Hello Dolly really sing along with Walter Matthau, or how about 'Don't call me Shirley . . .' What's 'wrong' with ridiculous when it comes to totally fictional movies whose sole purpose is to entertain and not inform. The Kirk Douglas movie had a big budget and was meant to be taken a little more seriously, but if time travel is a fact then I missed it in physics class :) Point is, if you base an entire movie on what is currently a totally fictional premise why do you need to get other scientific 'facts' straight before the movie can be enjoyable. How many movies are based on the Zombie Loonies Threaten The Earth? Have you seen many real zombies kicking around the streets lately - and no, I'm not talking about politicians so you can't count them okay:) It was obvious that the director was on a restricted budget (it is a B movie after all) and wasn't going for realism, rather he made an entertaining somewhat tongue-in-cheek movie. Not the best acting in the world, not the best of anything, but like so many other movies it was a decent entertaining watch none the less. I didn't consider my time wasted at all but then I like Sci-Fi anything and especially time travel movies even if they are, or sometimes especially if they are in the B movie class. 5 stars from me.
Full disclosure. I like airplanes going back in time, ie 'The odyssey of Flight 33.'
Well done for low, low budget.
No spoilers here. It deserves some praise.

So many errors: They say is 1940. Lancaster only fly in 1942. Me-262 operational 1944 No AAM nor SAM's in WW2 Me-262 don't have AAM's. Me-262 has 4x30mm guns not machine guns. If co-pilot his hit by one 30mm shell is in very bad shape. Cutting and dropping radar ???? British soldiers in 1940 with jeeps and American machine guns ? Me-262 flying faster than actual commercial jet ? Spitfires near German border. Commercial jet is near Germany but drop radar, British soldiers are nearby get it and in no time move it to England and turn it on. ? And that is not even half the errors i found !
This is not a movie - is a game of catching errors. I give 1 because is impossible to give 0 or negative.

People need to cut this movie a bit of slack. It's just meant to be fun. It's not meant to be anything else. Sure the history is bizarre. That's even pointed out in the movie, as they discuss the Battle of Dunkirk - in this movie it didn't turn out the way it actually turned out. So, somehow, history is a little bit different, which perhaps helps to explain a lot of what seem to be historical inaccuracies. They're not inaccurate. The timeline is just a little bit different. Folks need to stop fixating on that and accept the movie as sheer entertainment. From that perspective it worked quite well.
International Airlines Flight 42 from Dulles to Heathrow encounters a weird storm over the Atlantic, and when passing through it also somehow goes back in time - emerging over the French coast during a German bombing raid in 1940. Nobody knows how it happened, and it takes a while for everyone to be convinced that it has happened - but however it happened, it happened, and it's enjoyable enough to watch as the crew and passengers come to terms with their situation and try to develop a plan to get out of it alive.
It's a low budget, sci-fi movie about time travel featuring a largely little known cast. You have to know that going in to it and set your expectations accordingly. I think the rating this movie gets here (4.4 at the time of writing) is ridiculously low. I'm going to give it an 8 - not because it's a great movie - but because in spite of its limitations it accomplishes what it sets out to accomplish. It's fun and it entertains. I had no trouble watching it from beginning to end - which is more than I can say for a lot of big budget movies with mega-stars.

I have to say that I expected "less" going into this. But it was a cold day and gray outside. I felt that since it was mid day I would watch something I could easily nap to and not stress about missing the show.
No napping took place as the movie has a smooth pace and a tension filled, techy and problematic storyline that keeps you tuned in to see what happens next. That said, you will find this movie is low budget but the acting and activity are really good. I felt that if I had seen this on TV one night I would go nuts talking about it at work the next day.
So if you like WWII "Stuff" and your in the mood for something not filled with smooching, heavy violence or drugs you will indeed find time well spent watching!!! Be sure to pay attention so you don't get confused at the end.

Sorry I literally almost fell asleep watching the first 10 minutes of this movie. It's really boring and I don't really think it was put together that well. I continued watching thinking okay maybe it might get better later but nope. It was literally just a bunch rip offs put together in one movie. Seriously though, don't watch it. There are probably a bunch of girls out there who want to watch it cuz Robbie Kay is in it. I know, cuz I was one of those girls. But trust me when I say it really is not worth it at all. It looks good in he trailers and stuff but it really isn't that great. If you want to see Robbie Kay, go watch season 3 of Once Upon a Time. That's way better anyway. So yeah, don't watch this rip off collage and go do something else, or else you will regret it like me.

The viewer will assume this is a time travel film, if only because the characters believe they have traveled in time, back to 1940. From the beginning, however, they are confronted with events that are apparently out of kilter, such as Dunkirk being a disaster rather than an inspirational evacuation, or Nazi jets, or Allied SAM weaponry, or the lack of British radar research, or...well, you get the idea--something is wrong, something even the professional historians aboard the airliner don't understand, and never really get. There is a temptation to dismiss the film as just a remake of The Final Countdown, but it goes past it in terms of theme, edging into more complexity, touching upon the idea of Intelligent Design, divine intervention, and the fluidity of time. Had the script actually addressed the issues directly rather than touching upon them tangentially, and also managed to remain above a certain level of pulpy mawkishness, the film would have been better. It might also then have risen above the mediocre acting. But the script writers did not, the director did not, and so we have a film that is highly entertaining and diverting, but is hardly challenging.
This was a great Sunday Afternoon movie which is exactly When I viewed it. This
review is for the arm chair writers and directors that couldn't write their 5th
grade essay on what i did on my summer vacation . So what some of the facts
were off. No one's life was in danger. It's all make believe for entertainment
Why do we find so much fault. I didn't understand the last part when the old
man showed the pilot his journal on the events I agree it could have been better ,,,,But BEN HUR could have been better also . I think the Actors in this film were well cast and the FX WAS good for a (B) grade film .

First of all the historical facts are completely off, it bothers me how people excuse low budget films when they just throw in facts out of order. Even in wikipedia you could find more accurate timeline and historical facts than this movie and i don't think a search would increase the budget so much.
Actin - terrible, flat lines no passion. And as if there is any airline that would speak to passengers in this way/manner and language. Or should i forget the ''asap'' the captain used? Should i mention both pilots driving at the same time an aircraft that can be done with one?
Effects - just bad How on earth would a plane still fly after being shot so many times in mid air, all over, and not explode or create a suction effect on the high initial altitude? or should i mention the stall dip they made but managed to pull of by pulling up and the fighter plane couldn't? really now?
and you couldn't just miss the ''patriot'' who wanted to prevent the holocaust ahahahaha this is just crap.
in my own opinion the only thing making worse this film is that Carmen Electra or Paris Hilton would act in it

I want to be smoking what the dude that thought this was the best time travel movie...(probably the director or producer) this was a giant steaming pile! My best guess is it was made to launder money..or maybe to keep someone busy enough to not come home for awhile.
If you want to see something that gives Istar some serious competition for worst ever check this out...but don't say you weren't warned.
I have to add some lines so will mention that all the actors are well advised to leave this off their resume..
The stewardesses...wow!
"I hated it while watching it and don't want to waste any more time...just wanted to share"

This has got to be the stupidest movie that I have ever had the misfortune to have seen.
It is almost as if it was intentional. The acting was so embarrassing that I found myself squinting my eyes on more than a few occasions
Do yourself a favor and avoid this film at all costs.
I'm quite certain that I lost several I.Q. points watching this.
The graphics were terrible. The acting again, embarrassing The writing was so basically that it reminded me of a grades cool skit!!! I fingers myself scratching my head, wondering what the invested were thinking when they saw this pile of trash Just don't do it
