The film's budget was less than $2 thousand.
Originally titled Naughty List and slated for release in 2016, it went through several more title changes, including Lady Krampus, before being picked up for distribution in 2018 as a sequel to Mother Krampus (which wasn't the original title of that film either). The two movies are not connected in any way, but the distributor felt they would sell better by cashing in on the recent Krampus craze.
Lemmon Hall at Kenilworth and W. 11th Street was also where the Deer Hunter scenes were shot, starring Robert DeNiro and Christopher Walken.
