King Dave tells the journey of David, a seemingly dumb white guy who always takes the wrong direction at any given crossroad he leads to.
This is quite an original movie regarding
1- The story itself 2- That it's made to look like it's only one take 3- That Dave explains the story through the fourth wall while he's living it at the same time.
So big thumbs up for that fresh breath of a film.
While there's a little bit of action, a little bit of drama and a little bit of dark humor, the movie stays simple. If you want an intricate thriller, look away.
If you liked Bird Man, you'll probably enjoy this movie.

A very good movie, unlike anything else I've ever seen. Written, played in theater and played again in this movie adaptation by the same person, this story of a dumb guy who makes a lot of wrong decisions is well put together and worth watching if only because you'll never see anything else like it. Filmed to look like a very long single take, the main character tells us his story as he moves through some key elements of it. Very interesting and I'm glad I've seen it.
Lacks any real substance. Its an artsy fartsy movie that thinks it is more intelligent than it is. Just a boring movie that bills itself as something it's not instead of the college film class movie that it is. Take a pass on this one. You won't miss out on anything and you once you die you will be happy that you didn't waste hours of your life on this garbage
