At the beginning of the movie there is a sign for a donkey renting service saying "Rent a osel" (Osel is Donkey in Russian). But it should sound "Rent an Osel".
In the mental hospital Shurik tries to open the door but can't, in reference to the classic scene from the original, where the door is opened the other way. In this scene it is clearly visible that the door is actually locked, which is why he can't open the door.
The window into the rubber room in the mental hospital is clearly an iPad that is attached to a closed door, with a video of Shurik in the room.
The real hair of the actor of the hotel administrator is clearly visible underneath his wig.
In the opening credits the word "Casting" is spelled "Castig". In the closing credits the word is spelled correctly.
During the entire movie, which is set in the Caucasus the Inkermanwine can be seen, which is unusual as this is typical wine from Krim island (the movie was filmed in Krim and Inkerman was one of the main sponsors of the movie)
When Shurik approaches Nina he says "You appeal to my donkey" to which she replies "Very self-critical". This reply doesn't make any sense.
Earlier in the movie Shurik asks Nina to walk only on the road, without turning anywhere else, in reference to the classic line from the original movie, where Nina was actually turning into the forest. However in this movie she never leaves the road, she only gets on a bus, which also never left the road. So the quote makes here no sense at all.
