Exclusive: Barrett Carnahan (Cobra Kai) has been cast in the Apple TV+ series For All Mankind for the space drama’s upcoming fifth season. In a recurring role, he will portray ‘Marcus,’ a recent high school graduate living on Mars.

The latest season of For All Mankind, created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi, rocketed the series into the new millennium. In the eight years since Season 3, Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its footprint on Mars by turning former foes into partners. It’s now 2003, and the space program’s focus has turned to capturing and mining extremely valuable, mineral-rich asteroids that could change the future of both Earth and Mars. But simmering tensions between the residents of the now-sprawling international base threaten to undo everything they are working toward.

Carnahan joins the expanding cast that includes Mireille Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz and Ines Asserson.

Talent agent Brian Wittenstein is launching a new company, Prototype Talent Agency, which he is starting with many of his existing clients, including Italia Ricci, WWE’s “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and Piper Curda.

The move comes a month and a half after Wittenstein exited Hyperion Talent Agency following misconduct allegations.

Other clients who are following Wittenstein to Prototype include Emery Kelly, Ricky Garcia, Major Curda, Brandi Rhodes, Owen Patrick Joyner, Julia Garcia (Sydney to the Max), and martial artist/viral sensation Rayna Vallandingham.

The agency will also represent professional wrestling talents for their wrestling agreements, including Rhodes as well as WWE Hall of Famer Billy Gunn, among others.

Exclusive: Nika King, who for two seasons played Leslie Bennett, the mother of Zendaya’s Rue on HBO’s Emmy-winning series Euphoria, has inked with Wonder Street for management.

King has had a riveting season as Leslie, faced with the dire straits of having to choose between saving drug-addicted, reckless Rue or her younger daughter, Gia. At one point, Leslie is involved in an intervention for Rue which follows the latter to rock bottom.

Miami native King made her first acting appearance in the TV movie Miss Miami in 2002. A Groundlings alum, her TV credits include OWN’s Greenleaf, 2 Broke Girls, Hannah Montana, Best Friends Whenever and NCIS: Los Angeles and the Adam Sandler-Drew Barrymore movie 50 First Dates.

1. “A Series of Unfortunate Events” Season 1 (available January 13)

Why Should I Watch It? Netflix has sunk quite a sum into this ambitious adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events.” Quite unlike the film version starring Jim Carrey, Netflix’s serialized adaptation will incorporate Lemony Snicket as a character (just he was in the book). Patrick Warburton plays the titular author recounting the tale of three Baudelaire children who are taken under the wing of the evil Count Olaf (Jim Carrey) when their parents encounter an unforeseen tragedy. And from what we’ve seen, Snicket’s warnings of the story’s grim nature as well as his general incorporation only make the show itself more endearing. This is a children’s story too dark for some children and made with adult expectations in mind.

Disney Channel announced on Thursday that it has commissioned a sequel series to That’s So Raven, the 2003-07 sitcom starring Raven-Symoné.The actress, who since 2014 has served as a co-host on The View, will thus depart the New York-based talk show to reprise her role on the forthcoming spinoff, which is set to film in Los Angeles.

Shelby and Cyd’s time-traveling adventures elicits more consequences in Season 2 of Disney Channel’s “Best Friends Whenever.” In this exclusive clip (above), one of those consequences makes itself known in the form of 16th century Princess Daisy (“The Voice” alum Bryana Salaz), who has unwittingly traveled to 2016 due to a time rift created by the besties, played by Lauren Taylor and Landry Bender. In celebration of the upcoming Aladdin: Diamond Edition release, Scott Weinger, the voice of Aladdin, hosted a special screening of the film at the Walt Disney Studios lot and Wamg was there for Sunday’s fun events.

There was a host of fun activities for kids – a coloring table, ring toss, belly dancing lessons and a nice pre-movie breakfast. Youngsters in attendance also left with gifts such as Disney action figures, the iconic fairy wings, and a special Golden Books edition of Aladdin.

For many of the kids in the audience, this was their first time seeing Aladdin, including star Scott Weinger’s own son and his delighted friends, further confirming that this Disney classic holds up through generations.
