Macfadyen adapted the Shakespearean tragedy while filming "Turn: Washington's Spies" in Richmond, Virginia. He cast many of his fellow "Turn" actors, such as Taylor Roberts as Lady Macbeth and Kevin McNally as Duncan, and shot on location in Richmond while filming the second season of the AMC television drama. The film also stars Macfadyen's longtime friend and "Titus" costar, Harry Lennix, as Banquo.

Unique take on an old tale

I will be first to admit this won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It does take some basic, if not a little more than basic knowledge of the play however. Otherwise it would be easy to become lost.

The acting was excellent and the use of music and imagery was spot on.

This was a unique perspective that was fun to watch.
