The short was shot in the Mojave Desert at El Mirage Dry Lake, California, USA, a famous desert to appear in several music videos, shorts and movies as Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), Lethal Weapon (1987), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) and Space Cowboys (2000), between so much others.

Goofs
(at 2:35) When Blake meets Stranger and Blake falls to the ground, it can be seen that Blake is in shadow because the sun is behind him. However, the Stranger has the sun behind his head, which is impossible because Stranger is in front of Blake.

An Empty Glass

There is nothing explained in this little film. Half of it is a jet powered vehicle zooming out in the desert, driven by a woman. Then some bad things happen. Who are these aliens? Where did she go? What happened at the end? Just not worth the five minutes.
