Madeline and Thomas are smoking blunts and watching movies when Madeleine's cat, Meowy, speaks to them in perfect English to demand their help saving the planet from certain catastrophe.
Madeline, Thomas, and Meowy map out their plan of attack. Their roommate, Nanette, returns home from a bad day at work only to be confronted by Meowy who then gives them their marching orders.
After a close run-in with the law, the three roommates have a chance encounter with a rebel informant cat named Buttons who gives them the dish on a new lead.
The roommates and their new friend Eloise flee the Pretty Kitty house and find themselves lost in Bed-Stuy. Thomas draws his boundaries, and the ladies decide to run an errand that does not go as expected.
