Acting Scared with Mariah O'Brien and J.C. Brandy (2013)
*** 1/2 (out of 4)
Very good and highly entertaining featurette that can be found on the Shout Factory-Anchor Bay Blu-ray release of HALLOWEEN: THE CURSE OF MICHAEL MYERS. This featurette runs just under 20-minutes and is a lot of fun so fans of the film will certainly be happy. O'Brien starts things off talking about how she got the role and then she goes into details about the making of the film and the various production issues that came up. Brandy also discusses the same type of things but the most fascinating part of her interview is her discussing what it was like when she realized she was taking over a part from someone who the fans loved. She opens up about some of the abuse she's gotten over the years from fans who wanted Danielle Harris in the part.
Overall both ladies are extremely delightful as they look back at the making of the film and both share some very good stories. I think the featurette keeps the viewer highly entertained while at the same time gives you a better idea of what was going on behind-the-scenes, which is all you can really ask for.
