In the movies, Marci's uncle is named Donald and is often referred to as Uncle D, Duck or Uncle Duck. This is in homage to writer Rhonda Baraka's real-life Uncle Donald, who cameos in the movie as the preacher doing the wedding ceremony.

Typical Christmas Fare

Acting is good, but not great. As usual in Christmas movies, people, clothes and sets are attractive. Plot is somewhat predictable, also as usual. Fun, mindless entertainment. The mother of the main character is only 11 years older than her, and unbelievable as we get mom.
