The film was inspired from a Halloween photo-shoot director Chase Michael Pallante created and modeled for in 2014.
Between budget and production costs, the stunt scenes in the film was originally going to have a stunt double but because of the strict New York City State laws and relations with safety and insurance policies, the director and special effects supervisor discussed creating a dummy of the actress to be used instead.
The dummy of the actress took three months to properly create for the ending climax scene.
The original casted actress for the main lead was changed due to scheduling conflicts.
The whole concept of the film was fleshed out in an outline while the director choose to shoot the opening sequence of the film first, which is also labeled as a short film, in hopes for raising the funds to the budgeting requirements to produce the entire feature length horror fest. The Matrix was originally done in this manner and once the production studio saw the first 15 minute sequence they got the green light of their production costs.
