Plot

JT throws Vincent a surprise bachelor party. Unfortunately, it is interrupted by a mysterious sniper with his sights set on putting a stop to Vincent and Cat's interference with the super human experiments. Cat's family comes to town for a bridal shower arranged by Heather but Cat is distracted by having to visit her imprisoned father to ask for his help.

Vincent and Catherine have decided to not let all the turbulent beast and enhanced person cases interfere with living their lives. Therefore their marriage has become a priority, and bachelor(ette) parties are planned. Heather arranged for two of their mother's sisters to come early to get reacquainted. Due to Catherine's anger towards her mother for creating beast DNA in the first place, she cannot handle the aunts praising and honouring her late mother. Vincent is surprized by J.T. to find a distant cousin with two younger ones. The oldest is politically ambitious lawyer Hank Keller, who arranges a stripper dressed in a police uniform for Vincent, when shots are heard in the street where they are having drinks. It turns out that the shooter is the first of an 'epidemic' of enhanced humans, who to J.T.'s horror have been infected with proto (original) beast DNA. Patient Zero spreading the parasite with the proto beast DNA, turns out to be a bike courier that Vincent can track due to this proto beast DNA blood, which Vincent has in his own blood.—KGF Vissers
