Aleco: Master Corran, may I ask you a question?
Corran: What troubles you, Aleco?
Aleco: I understand the importance of this mission, but why must we have a bounty hunter with us? those people would rather work for the Sith at the right price.
Corran: Darth Zeanis is a deadly foe. Cautions must be taken.
Aleco: Still, I can't believe the Council would even hire a bounty hunter at all.
Corran: That is, because they didn't.

When I give a short 5 stars, it means it was a commendable effort and in this case, a fun watch. Go in with being aware that this is yet another light saber battle in some random forest... and just enjoy the ride.
Almost gave it 6 stars but the non-canon unexplained ending made no sense. I can handle non-canon, no problem: that just means a bit of artistic license and exercise of imagination, which I applaud. But it this case it's just not logical. I tried to wrap my head around how this could possibly pertain to anything in the known story line, and it just doesn't fit. Cute try, but misses the target by a mile.
Maybe I'm missing something and if so, someone fill me in and I'll gladly up the rating. But it's like this is just a "Hey! I have an idea!" moment and no one checked to see if it had any relevance to the known facts. Thus the lesser rating. Nonetheless this was a fun watch and if we set credibility to the side, worth the time. Better than most fight-in-the-forest shorts we've seen.
Upside: fairly well choreographed. Not perfect, but it's a fan film. Gotta give creds for effort and "not bad at all".
