I watched "Sluzby Specjalne" (Secret Services) with interest. There were many allusions in the film suggesting that the events depicted were based on facts. So I checked the web, finding no corroboration to that. I liked the director's attention to detail and the acting of Olga Boladz and Janusz Chabior. Also, the glimpses into the private lives of the main characters looked quite decent to me. On the other hand, I was not convinced by Patryk Vega's artistic style, the sensationalism of the message, and the density of allusions and conspiracy theories. Even as a Pole I couldn't always figure out what it was all about, and I suspect that someone from abroad would be completely confused. But despite everything, I think that "Special Services" is quite a decent thriller that is worth watching.
