Worth watching just ignore the dump female lead
I haven't watched the Japanese version of ''Liar game'', so I don't know which one is better but however, watching this without knowing or watching the Japanese version, make me feel, I am watching one of the worth watching dramas.
Though the game which the drama is about isn't morally right (Lying). But it shows us the ugly truth, what a human can do for money! Lying, deception, manipulation everything they can do to make money.
I must admit, I was about to drop it in half way because it is so boring. Surprisingly, I got myself almost hocked after that mysteries are coming, and suspense started building, It hocked and amazed me till end.
Talking about negative things, the lead actress is too annoying, seriously! How anyone can be so dump? Yeah, the drama tries convey she naive, innocent and bla bla but the director really forgot the difference between dump and naive. All she did in the drama is, doing mistakes and the male lead cleaning masses.
Another thing,I found annoying, the games rules are pretty complicated, I had to reverse or pause several times to understand the rules regarding the game. Maybe,it's because I don't know or speak the language.

Very interesting,but short
Liar Game is based on a Japanese manga. It tells a story in which a naive girl enters a game in which participants may use all means except physical violence to scam others out of money. It is very interesting and high stakes drama, but at 12 episodes,a bit shorter than your regular K drama. Otherwise, very good.10/10.

The worst adaptation I have ever seen
This was based on a Japanese masterpiece of a manga. I went into this drama with high hopes but it completely obliterated my hope. Too many unnecessary talking and changes that it felt very slow and dull. Even the parts that are supposed to be thrilling are so dull. The main character's acting is so bad and fidgety. What a disappointment. Don't watch it, it's such a rip off

Questionable adaptation
The drama lacked the Korean flavor in its adaptation from the original Japanese one. Usually when the source is Japanese, the adaptation will take the core idea and add its Korean spin but not in this one. This feels like it was fully produced by Japan but with Korean cast. From writing to dialogue, characters and editing, even the teaser at the very last scene. Speaking of the cast, this is Kim So Eun worst performance, I've seen from her other roles and she's usually better than this, I don't why she's like that here. It's obvious also without saying that they made her character purposely dumb.
