Plot was doable if not average. Acting, esp. Human Resources Director, was abysmal. Victims were best actors and not so painful, so will miss them.
Ending was one of the worst ever seen causing assumptions to frame out what happened as it skipped through a normal timeline of events.

I found the gimmicks interesting, a cop with confused senses and perfect memory. Neat. There a fair bit of stylization on display which keep the film visually interesting in elsewise boring looking scenes. The acting is hit or miss, but I don't entirely blame the actors as during some dialogue scenes it feels like the editor gave them no time to breath between lines. I think Cosmo Jarvis did a good job and Jo woodcock was excellent.
The story is par for the course if you enjoy British crime dramas, but does spice things up with duel narration from both sides of the law. It's budget does show from time to time in the foley work and some blander sets ... but then there's a helicopter, so I guess they did have money. Still, overall I enjoyed it and wouldn't mind seeing this be a series ... it even feels episodic in structure.

Monochrome is a solid solid effort. The movie is great, well acted, well shot and a genuinely well thought out and put together movie. Having said that there is one problem I really had with this film and unfortunately I think it could of been a massively interesting story point, how they would have portrayed it effectively, I have no idea but that's not for me to figure out. Jo Woodcock and Cosmo Jarvis are superb.
