As Scotty is chasing Christy into the woods after letting her out of the van to pee, she had no time to remove her leather jacket, take off her bra, then re-don the jacket before Scotty gets close enough for her to throw her panties and bra into the branches over his head.

The timeline of the two related movies, judging from the apparent ages of the characters, has been compressed, with this story set in 2018, and the date of the original movie's events having been moved up approximately 10 years from the 1978 setting.

When Christy is watching Becky at the garage, while sitting in the car after killing Herman, she reloads the .357 revolver to replace the round she spent in Herman's head. But she does not eject the spent shell casing before loading a new bullet into the cylinder.

Before the rape in the forest, Kevin drags the nude Christy, face down, backwards on the dirt path for about 3 metres, but when she is helped to her feet after he finishes with her, Christy's chest, face, and belly are clean and unmarked by any dirt, leaves, or pine needles.

AT 34 minutes, when Scotty is driving Christy while she's tied up asking to stop to go to the bathroom, Scotty slams on the brakes to let her out. The camera is on Christy during the sudden screeching stop and she doesn't move an inch, despite sitting on the flat back floor of a cargo van facing sideways with no seatbelt on.
