In the middle of shooting, a new law was passed in Russia that forbade cursing on television. This forced the crew to bleep out certain dialogue and re-dub other parts.
On many occasions the protagonists listen to Swedish pop music. Director Anders Banke is Swedish and often puts Swedish elements in his Russian productions and Russian elements in his Swedish.
