As with most of these things, there is something good at the core of this story if it weren't for all the manga tropes and character traits. Josee's whole personality is a manga trope and I can't say I'm a fan really. And on top of that the sex stuff is off-putting. So, like most of these love stories, it was bound to end up where it did and frankly I found the ending very realistic, if a little sad. They're both infantile, in different ways and they were not willing and able to see it through. Certainly not at the stage they were at emotionally. And probably when they are older they wouldn't even meet and come into each other's lives because you're much more reticent and closed-off then. Kind of a doomed romance I guess.
