Warning: Spoilers
Some of the photography of this movie stays on one background far too long, here and there. To the basic movie goer, they are left with wondering what are they suppose to get out of this scene.

BUT, at least some of these scenes, do have a purpose. They allow the tension to build, they may even communicate what the players were feeling, having escaped a nightmare with their lives, down in a new land where there is no turning back.

Parts of the movie were "familiar" for I remember a history teacher telling us, when I was a child in ARAMCO times, how the British opposed immigration, of how those getting off the ships would beat armed resistance. Of course, what the movie leaves out is how the British started this whole affair with the Balfour Letter, giving away a land they didn't have at the time.

It's an enticing movie even if it has to be taken with subtitles. No great wonder of how much long this movie is going to go on. Since it is about history, however, there is no clear ending at the movie's conclusion for it is taken place right before the first of many wars in that region.
