I don't mind gore. I watched True Blood more times than I dare to admit. I watched Bones and All until the end, just to see how low it could go. And it was quite low.
Performance-wise, I think the idea of the cast was to use the contrast between the actors' physical fragility and their brutality. But there was no chemistry between them, despite the actors' efforts. The real problem was the script and that the world building basically ends with the understanding what she is and that there are many of them. After that, it's some kind of teen drama. Details like - why there are so many of them, how come nobody persecutes them, how come they are not organized in any way, how they survive at all (biologically) - are not addressed at all. And if it's supposed to be horror - it's not. It's more disgusting than scary. I literally watched the whole movie just to see who's gonna end Bones and All. And I guessed correctly. So...I do not recommend. The best thing in the film were the views and the small town people who I really enjoyed.
