I didn't know what to expect. But chose to stream it when I saw the actors. Apart from 'Thijs' I've known all of them and saw them on tv, in the theater or in a movie. So I knew the acting would be fine. So I was curious about the story and the editing. I was immediately drawn into the movie. The story wasn't as important as the character development as it turned out. It's about a small group road trip for elderly people organized by a young entrepreneur who's splitting up with his girlfriend.
The acting is excellent. And all characters change throughout the movie. Some more than others. I'm sure that the movie wasn't shot in a chronological order. But the way the characters developed was smooth, often subtle defined by a mere gesture, and sometimes moving as well as amusing.
It sometimes reminded me of the Coen Brothers style of storytelling. If you don't like that type (and pace) of storytelling, this is probably not for you. If you do like it you're in for a treat.
