Review of If I Should Die Before I Wake

The movie is done with accuracy/exact throughout where the story and film are merged towards the viewer. The films scenes are exact/accurate in detailing the example where the boy in fruition to young man was in his room and all the footsteps and sound leading to opening the room can be in detail heard. The film in observance portrays living experiences from generational occupation as the father became part of the police force from his father while the son goes through a life experience based on the occupations of parentage. The film was rated PG but according to the films introduction remarks by Muller on TCM that many had nightmares about this film and was forgotten as a result in which was restored as the film indicates by UCLA. The film has to be rated at least TV-14 to R and should be noted as a film with adult content featuring innocent children which lends to the "once in a lifetime" viewing experience as the film portrays the subject matter as serious towards this innocence.
